i found some yellow jackets this afternoon, or should i say they found me[:-][:@], i was pushing up some brush, legs, arms and head, two around and one on my ear, wife said around 17 stings...done took some benydryl, will be nap time soon

We often make cane syrup in the fall of the yr. We have one of those old timey cane mills that you operate with a horse and feed the cane into it by hand. The cane juice will squirt back on you and the yellow jackets will crawl all over your head feeding on the juice. It's amazing how passive they are at this time.
On the other hand, they are real bad sometimes in the swamp when I'm bush-hogging grass plots . . .they'll teach you just how fast you can still move.
