I've never posted in the religion forums but I'm here looking for a little guidance on a subject. What is everyones take on the illusionist Chris Angel? I just saw an episode of him walking on water across lake Meade.
I don't consider myself a holy man by no means. However I was raised Southern Baptist my whole childhood and was and was expected to be at church every Sunday, Sunday night and for Wednesday night prayer meeting.
I know this guy is mostly an illusionist but there are some things that he does that are unexplainable. Like levatating and walking on water. My question is, is he the work of the devil?
No he's just a really good magician. He's kind of annoying in that, instead of just being a really good magician, he tries to make you think what he's doing is real.
He is not the work of the devil. Now Hillary Clinton......

Or those who watch and believe is real ,are out there.
anyone can walk on plexiglass under the water, he didn't walk accross as stated only a bit out and then had assistants pretending to be audience trying to prove there was nothing under his feet and then some edited camera shots.
It is a show and even the audience are hired, pleaaaaase ![]

I feel so stupid Kosherboy! Now can you tell me how Santa Clause fits down my chimney?

If what he did was obvious and easily explainable to an audianceI doubt that his show would get many bookings. If I see someone levitating or walking on water orsomething else that defies fundamental physical laws, I do notneed to know how he does it in order to know that it is nothing more than a clever man made illusionwith no help from the supernaural.
