Default FCC rejects televised and radio sermans

Has anyone else seen that the fcc is passing a law that will ban pastors from spreading the word on the television and radio broadcasts? I got this on an email where a group has gotten over a 1/4 million signatures to ban the spreading of GODS word on the airways. If this is true then when are we as CHRISTIANS going to stand up and say enough is enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! When does it become a problem that out rights are being infringed upon? Everywhere I look I see that you can't sing Christmas carols because it affends, I can't tell someone that I will pray for them because it is wrong. I can't talk to my children about homosexuality being wrong because it is a hate crime. When and where do we stand up and draw the line? I am only 28 years old and have seen this world self destruct at an alarming pace. I am saddened and for lack of a better term terrified with the way the world is going. Our own leaders who do beleive won't stand up for us anymore because they themselves are affraid of becoming the saccrificial lambsfor there beliefs! IS there anything that can be done or has to much of our ground already been givin up???????

And if you'll notice, being the gentleman He is, God has backed out of everything that Hes been asked to!!

The disciples were also commanded by the worldly officials to stop preaching in Jesus name..What did they do?? They spread the Word even more..I preach every morning in my public school classroom..and hold a weekly prayer meeting with the other Christian teachers..Are we supposed to?? No..BUT my friends we are not of this world. Our citizenship is in Heaven..and if our quality of work shines ..they will usually leave us alone for we will be an asset to the work plane not a hinderance.

I'm not sure it's a real problem. Our parish broadcasts the mass on two different channels on Sunday morning at different times. The time is paid for just like any other program that they broadcast.

From what I hear, these TV preachers take in more than enough money to pay for the time.

I'm going tohave to learn how to use Snopes.

I'm wondering thought, if it ever turned out that Snopes was wrong, would it be on Snopes?
