"But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world." (Galatians 6:14, italics added)
"And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby" (Ephesians 2:16, italics added)
The cross is repeatedly mentioned as a key tool in the atoning work of the Lord (Phil. 2:8; Col. 1:20; 2:14; Heb. 12:12).
"For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel,: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." (1 Cor. 1:17-18)
(Cross) occurs 28 times in 28 verses in the KJV

Jesus said, "he who stands firm to the end will be saved" Mark 13:13.
Live Life in such a way that those who do not know Christ will come to know Him because they know you
As Venator has said, some require it, Others refuse it a pagan symbol. A local assembly wanted to use our building for a meeting place on Sunday afternoon, but turned us down because there is a small cross on the end of the pews.
For us it is, because hundreds of thousands of Jews were crucified by Rome.
It would be like worshiping a rifle or an electric chair, it symbolizes "death"
It is one of the reasons Most Jews do not embrace Christianity.
And if it is an object of worship then it is strictly forbidden, let your conscious and the Holy Spirit be your guide.
