Default Sunday Sermonette

Howdy ya'll! well we been getting rain everyday and the catfish are trying to jump in the boat down at the river..nothing better in my book than fried catfish and cheese grits and sweet tea..Continue to pray for one another, especially those with special needs..and may the reading of his Word be a blessing to you..

1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. 1 Corinthians 4:1-5 KJV.

Father thank you for the reading of your word..i pray it will touch our hearts and help us inour Christian walk..in Jes name and for his sake i pray amen..

We all at of us at one time or another have the tendacy to judge someone else..and we usually judge them according to our standards, not God's..we judge others according to their denomination, we say they only believe that way because of tradition,--- you fill in the blank.. but the truth of it is we will all stand before God one day and He will be the One who will judge. All too often we forget that we are here to share the Gospel which is life to the dying, yet all too often we become the judge when we are supposed to be the bearers of the Good News.have you heard someone say, no need witnessing to that old drunk, he'll never change..the Bible says
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 KJV.
my friends that whosoever includes kings, queens ,me and you and that old drunk down the street... Those who have been called are to be stewards of what God has provided and are to be faithful in our calling. Again we must learn to walk the path and have the words that God has for us to share. We are not to be judge, for that is not why Jesus came to give us life. Without the Words of Life, people will die and spend an eternity separated from the One who wanted them to have life. We can get into all types of discussions about who is called and how this occurs, but what God is truly desiring of us is to be faithful with all that has been given us and in that day, we will hear those words: 'Well done my faithful child!'. It is very important that we learn this and apply to our lives and that we live in Him and through Him in the days ahead
let's talk about Jesus to those we meet..amen

Father thank you again for your preccious Word..may we glean something from this that will make a difference in our lives and and some lost soul might be saved today..in Jesus name i pray amen...
