Default Wher are You?

Is your Chrisianity ancient history or a current event?

When we were yoing and beginning to serve the Lord, we went at it like killing snakes but now that we are getting older we seem to slack off, saying i have done my share, let the young ones tke over..not so my friends, we should be sharing the wisdom God has so richly blessed us with and telling others about how great a salvation God has given us through the death on the cross of His only begotten Son..oh how i thank God for the shed blood of Jesus the Christ, how when i went to an old fashioned alter and got under the cross and just one drop of Jesus precious blood fell on me and i was gloriously saved..and dear friends, what a wonderful change has come into my life since Jesus came into my heart..oh i,m not what i ought to be, i'm not what i want to be, i am not even what i hoped to be,but by God's grace and Jesus love,I am NOT WHAT I USED TO BE!!! Praise His preciois name..
Do you know him as your Lord and Master? have you been to the cross? if not, i beg you, please let him be Lord of your life today..time is running out and everyone of us will spend eternity in either heaven or hell..please choose heaven, you won't be sorry when Jesus comes..God bless you all..

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint" Isa. 40:30-31

Yes Amen! I love that verse and it has carried me through some tough times.

Thanks for the word,,, but these days I can't run very far.. I like to walk and not faintAge is certainly a good prerequisite for wisdom, however age is not very conducive to our body's.

Age can be a forerunner to wisdom, but in some it can be a barrier.I recall as ayoung guythat I already knew everything I needed to know. (Those were the good old days.) On the other hand I have met a lot of older guys who have that same attitude. That results in an inability to learn. And we should be able to learn as we get older.

As a young guy though, I was about as interested in the Faith as Richard Simmons is in girls. That changed though as I realized that getting older just gives you the opportunity to learn more and more. And it gives you the opportunity to strengthen and purify your life.

Sometimes, but I don't find that to be universally true.

8 years in law enforcement has shown me ignorance and wisdomisfound in all ages.(not in a spiritual since)Just when I think I have seen the most ignorant thing I will ever witness something else tops it. Had a guy burglarize a local factory stealing copper wire, tools and change from the vending machines. He decided to do this with a fresh snow on the ground. He decided it would be better not to drive to the location and have someone see his vehicle so he walked to and from in the fresh snow. It was a tough tracking job but it led me right to his front door. Some of the most intelligent people I have met have been children who are basically raising themselves because their parents are out drinking or doping. Some of those kids really impress me how they handle the situation they are in. Its sad they dont have a childhood because they are taking care of brothers and sisters and filling in where the parent should be.
