Default Prayers Please

I could use your prayers this morning. I am on my way to Little Rock to my Neurosurgeon to begin a series of Epidural Steroid injections into my Lumbar vertebrae. Last weeksd MRI showed 3 buldging discs as the result of the head on collision in Februa3y. This is perminant damage, and the steriods are just to cover the pain. Also, my blood pressure is up yesterday and today, higher than it has ever been.

Thanks to you all.

Michael

Michael
Will do imediately my brother..
and a few words of encouragement here as well

We cast all our cares on Him because He careth for us..that is the God of ALL comforts who comforts us n our affictions..And when we pray we forgive any that we might have ought with ..so that out prayers won't be hindered...Jesus urges us to come to the Throne of Grace so that we may obtain help ..for He himself has went through everything that is possible yet without sin so that He can be a priest who is touched by the feeling of our infirmities..
And He tells us to ask..so Lord if you choose to work through doctors or by your youch we ask that you work on the behalf of our brother Michael doing exceedingly abundantly above and beyond what we can even imagine..,and may the peace that passes all understanding keep his heart from anxiety...
In Jesus Name
Amen.

you got them, i will give you some good newsmixed with a little bad[&o], i have had done what you are going in for, i have/had a herniated disk and severe hip and leg problems, nosleep, no rest and could not get comfortable, the best thing i could do was walk, sounds crazy but i got more relief walking than any other activity...

back to the injections, the first one i recieved worked like a miracle drug, for 3-4 months i was viturally pain free, the second injection missed the mark and i never recieved any relief[:@][&o], the third injection lasted a good 3 months also, the forth time lasted about a month or so with a fair amount of relief... at that point the doctor ( who was great, even wore camo scrubs) performing the procedure told me "look we can keep doing this from now on, but you really should address having the problem fixed"

got another doctor that performed that procedure and i am 80% recovered, meaning i have a lot more good days than bad, but there are some where my hip and leg will ache for some time, and i have also found that a lot of your recovery and limitations are controlled by your thought process upstairs, i refuse to give up/in its just my mindset...

keep a positive attitude, heed the advice and exercise the doctors advise, and keep prayingand i will too

Keith

My prayers are with you brother!.........From 1973 to 1975 I was on Workman's Comp cause of an injury to the L4 & L5. I wore a Ten's Unit for 2 years. I went to 3 OrthopedicSurgeons and 3 NeuroSurgeons. Two of the Orthopedics and two of the NeuroSurgeons advice against surgery. Here we are in 2008 and I have never have had my back cut open. Over the years Chiropractor's have really helped when needed.

Well I am back home. The procedure went well but it hurt pretty badly. I believe that he stuck the epidural catheter straight in to one of the affected discs. I mean WOW !!! and all he could say while I was squirming was ..... hold still please.... yeah right.... but I will have another in two weeks and then another two weeks later. A total of three every six months is all they can do. Lets hope it holds the pain off. Fairly tired right now. Think I need a nap.

Thanks for all your prayers, and your loving ocnsideration. It really means a lot.

God bless you all

MET
