My friend ..there are no scriptures to answer you with but I would liketo make a commet..concerning the following scriptures.
Matthew 7:22
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
"Many" are busy in ministries...but they are missing one very important thing..they don't know Jesus? Is it possilbe to be in a ministry or do Christian things and not know Him...according to these verses ,yes. So the answer ..make sure you know Jesus..when you sin you will be chastized .
Hebrews 12:6
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. and if you make a habit of sinning..the Father will continue to chastize you until you grow weary of sinning and surrender to His will..
In summary, how much sin does it take to be cut off? For me, I look at God's requirements for us.He requires us to forgive each other when we are asked ..up to 490 times each day..Mt. 18. He commands us to love and bless our enemies..to respect our froward bosses..I figure..like father like son..If God requires this of us ,than His love must truly be deeper than the deepest sea and wider than the ocean..I do know He loves me...simply because He has chastized me 1000s of times.
After 32 years ,I'm finally learning to submit to His will and
desire righteousness instead of worldliness..
