That it is a theory that cannot be proven and should so be taught in theory not in fact.

I believe that God gives animals the ability to slightly adapt as a form of survival. But I do not believe that animals evolve into something else.

Just like I do not believe in reincarnation, I don't believe that there is a supreme race, and I do not believe that an unborn fetus is not a human life.

Such a mixed up world we live in when we have people fighting for animals rights but those same people will legalize abortion.

We want the crime rate to go down, but we beat down those who try to teach morals that help prevent such cruel acts.

We want the poverty rate to go down but we think that throwing money at poor people will motivate them to stand on their own.

We want less drinking and driving but we don't want to put forth the effort or money to make stiffer laws and consequences in order for that to happen.

We don't want our kids to get mixed up in drugs and drinking but half the time we don't know the people whose house they are always hanging out at.

We want teenage pregnancy to go down so we hand them condoms in school and tell hormone raging teens that if they are going to have sex to do so with a condom. Isn't that giving them permission?

Sorry got off topic, but I will say this. Faith is the key to believing in evolutionism or creationism or anything in between. I have seen this issue fought out so many times that it is sickening. The number one reason is that someone thinks that they can come in here and pick apart Christianity with this theory when in truth they can't even shake out faith. It seems to me that the only thing these attempts do is give us a stronger bond. So if you would like new topics to discuss then you can get ideas from my above list.

This has been discussed before and I don't think anyone changed his/her opinion.

I WILL take the opportunity to remind folks once again though, that one can accept evolution as the best explananation for the diversity of species, as I do, and still be a believer. (As most of you will recall, I am an observant Catholic.)

If the search engine worked, you could most likely find hundred pages on that subject. Typically it kinda goes like this, Evolutionist gives a scientist examples of evolution. Creationists give scientists examples of creation. Evolutionist attacks integrity of Creationist scientist. Evolutionist give achievements and awards of scientist. Some scripture and things thrown in. Creationist attacks evidence of evolution.

It has been debated from the beginning of the universe, beginning of life, to fossils, and mtDNA and many other view points. It has been debated between people from all walks of life.

And after all this, my view is stronger than ever. So thanks to all the evolutonists, you caused me to study your point of view, caused me to looked hard at examples and methods. And now I know the Bible is the ultimate science book.

I agree. You canbelieve that GOD created the universe and all life in it. And evolution was the method HE used to do it. The story of Creation in the Bible is a simple version that is understandable to most people, "GOD created the earth and all life"

I'll reiterate what I've stated before. Science is always open to new findings. Maybe a better explanation could come along than natural selection. Doubtful, but who knows? The point is that if natural selection is ever replaced as an explanation for the diversity of species, it won't be by the Genesis story.

Although, due to circumstnances, I wound up being baptized as an infant (Catholic by the way), I had no religious training at all while growing up. I'm very happy that no one told me that I couldn't be a Christian if I accepted the obvious facts of science. I've been able to receive the Faith and stillstudy science. Why does God do things the way He does? I don't know. But a scientist doesn't ask why God does things the way He does. We just study the how it was doneand thehow it happened.

The Bible says that GOD created man in HIS image- and there are some folks trying to convince the world we evolved from monkeys-I don't think GOD looks like a monkey!
