We Christians ( the 35 %) have various denominations and we fuss and fight over various interpretations of the Bible. However we (the 35 %) do not stray or waver on attaining salvation. We stand firm on several verses for they are the foundation of our faith.
John 14: 6 Jesus said to him, "œ I am the way the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Romans 10:13 For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord (Jesus) shall be saved.
Ephesians 2: 8-9 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works lest anyone should boast.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
There are many more, however these make my point clear. So as to say what happens to those that do not believe as we do? According to these scriptures it"™s very evident, and we cannot stray from what the Bible says, regardless what is in the intellect of man! We do not conform to the standards of a lost and dying world, nor do we have justify our beliefs, because it many offend someone! We are called to spread the word to that lost and dying world Matt.28:18-20.

No they don't go to hell. They have to spend eternity on the HNI Religion Forum.

Buddha nor anyone else has defeated death, hell, and the grave except for our Lord God Jesus Christ. If one dies serving any other god but the one God of the Scripture then they are going to hell like a bullet . . . . like a scud missle, kicking and screaming in oceans and rivers of liquid boiling fire.

That raises an interesting question to me tho . . . .What happens to the children of those who worship false gods when they die before an age of choice? I would still guess that the Scripture (Mat 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.) would still apply.
As far as serving a cruel God . . . .I disagree, God is just, and He is soveriegn, and He is holy, a jealous God. He created the earth, man, and every breath we draw. Our wisdom is folly to an all knowing God. I trust Him completly to be just in whatever He chooses.
I would suggest tho that if you don't like the answer you should'nt ask the question. Or maybe you just want to trash God so you had need to set the stage. But that's the bottom line as far as I can draw from the Scripture . . .we are put here to glorify and serve God . . .we either do or we don't. Like anything else there's consequences for our decisions.

Did you just use the word "question" that is the problem I have with most relegions is that you are taught not to question anything. Sounds like more of a way to control people to me.
I dont see how me questioning your scripture is trashing GOD, you said in your first post if you dont beleive you go to hell, all I did was question it.
Personally I don't spend much time worrying about others and thier religion. I spend my time ( what little free time I have) praising the LORD, and trying to spread the love that he so wanted us to spread. I don't think about what others are eating, wearing or driving. I don't think about how they live or where they play. I just do what I know is right for me and when called on by the LORD I respond with all I have. BUT my grandfather once told me something which stuck with me since. He stated that there is only one GOD, but many interpertations of how to serve him. And I haven't found any proof to dispute that. I know what the bible saysand to me it says one thing, and to you it means another. The one thing I do know is that GOD has instilled goodness in every person. He put love there and desire to serve him. Society , evil and other elements are doing thier best to strip those basic gifts that GOD gave us. SO when asked these questions I say this. Follow your heart, do right and love one another GOD will take care of the rest!!!!!!

I dont see how me questioning your scripture is trashing GOD, you said in your first post if you dont beleive you go to hell, all I did was question it.
My own self, I would like to be controlled by the Lord to an even greater extent than I am now. I have found that His ways are better than my ways and that what He wills for me is so much better than anything that I could ever will for myself. . . .of course, I've had to live a few yrs to come to this conclusion for myself.
I don't recall ever having been taught not to question Scripture. I have many questions about a lot of things pertaining to Scripture but I don't judge God . . . .which is how I took your statement: . . . . ."wow sound like you worship a cruel God". . . Anyone who would make such a statement is either a hater of the things and the people of God or has no knowledge of God. If it's the latter, my apologies.
However my friend, you yourself, will find yourself in hell someday unless you come under the blood of Christ. . . .Your asking the questions, I'm giving my opinion.
