Default i'm back

This last month or so has just been crazy, there has been so much going on. So I'll give you a quick update. My friend Tonja and I are in charge of coordinating meals for people who need them at the church, and we also help Marilyn with funerals. We have 3 elderly people who have needed meals. One of those elderly is our assistant pastors parents, his dad just passed away a few weeks ago.

They had a benefit for Sara the little girl in Isaac's grade who has cancer.

We are doing our baby bottle campaign which I am in charge of.

The last day of sunday school was the week before last but we have a sunday school picnic in June. Next week I have a meeting for vbs which we've been working on.

We had our second golden girls retreat. The theme was the Master Artist, the outline was who we are, what we are, who God is, why we were created, and the mirror image. The second devotion was on the parable of the 4 soils, and I used puzzle pieces as an analogy. Expressing love by spreading the gospel.

I have also been planning another ladies retreat for this fall.

We now have a puppy. Her name is Sadie and she is part black lab part mountain curr. It's been busy but I have been thinking about you guys and praying for you too. I should be around a little more often now.

Thanks! Sometimes I get so tired but I know it is worth it. My dad always says he'll get plenty of sleep when he is dead! Now I know why. When something is that important to you it doesn't matter if you get tired.

Josh took Ariel and the pup with him today so I just had the boys so I got to get some more painting done, I have been painting the boys' room and it's taking a long time. I am currently working on three trees. I painted the trunks and I am now adding the leaves. I am doing them 3 diff. colors so it is a lenghly process but when I see how happy Isaac is with each progress the time isn't a factor. There will also be some pine trees also. That is the kind of stuff that I love to do so it's not just for them but for me too.

Welcome back. It's good to hear from you. Sounds like you're pretty busy.
