Well another holiday week- end is here..Hope you all enjoy it and eat oo much,i know i will as we are having a BBQ at church monday and you are all invited..please pray for our troops that they will have a good holiday with no shooting. and pray for one another..[/align][/align]Father thank you for another opportunity to share thy precious Word..In Jesus name i pray..[/align][/align]20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall you be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.
"22 And when they began sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 2 Chronicles 20:20-22 KJV.[/align][/align]We as believers have already been told that we are going to face trials and tribulations in this life. Sometimes the storms of life are so strong that we even think about throwing in the towel and giving up.
If you haven"t reached that point in your life, just keep on living because that day is surely on the way. There is no escape from it, as the storms will surely come and usually when you least expect it..the doc tells you that cancer has been found, that the old ticker is going bad, your kidneys are failing but there is a way to handle these storms..
There is way to handle the storms of life without stressing out to point of throwing in the towel and saying enough is enough, and with that thought that brings me to first point...
First we must seek the face of GOD..
Looking back we can see what he is faced with , can you see ourselves in his shoes..he has been told tha there is a vast army coming to destroy him..Well, we have the same problem, only it is old satan and his army attacking us from all sides..he is after our families, especially the children
so joshaphat to have a national fast. This was to show God sincerity and to seek His face. This was customary for a Hebrew Kings to proclaim a fast in perilous situations. A city, a district, or the entire kingdom went into fasting ..[/align]Jehoshaphat knew he and his people had to seek the face of God.[/align]2 Chronicles 7:14 says, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." that my friends should be our prayer..[/align]Jehoshaphat goes to the temple in the middle of the courtyard to pray and to seek the face of God for himself. As he prays to God he exalts Him and gives Him the highest praise he knows how. when was the last time you got on your knees and just praised God for His goodness and mercy to us?[/align]He acknowledges God for His sovereign power, he acknowledges God for His wisdom, he acknowledges God for His grace. He acknowledges God for kindness and grace given to them by way of Abraham, his descendants, and land. We should never forget where we have come from. [/align]Jehoshaphat is reminding God of His promise. He was reminding God that He told him that anytime that he needed Him, He would be there for Him. same promise. you know we have tha same promise,He says"I will never leave you nor forsake you."

After Jehoshaphat was done praying, the Spirit of God came on a Levite by the name of Jahaziel a prophet (not mentioned anywhere else in the Bible). He informed Jehoshaphat that everything was alright, not to worry. have you ever heard that still small voice say everything going to be alright..i have and what a wonderful feeling that is..
but keep this in mind, the battle is not yours, but the Lords. don"t flinch and don"t even buckle. I got everything under control. I"ve got your back. God told me to tell you all that you have to do tomorrow is to march down against them and stand firm. Don"t move. Don"t fight. Don"t run. This battle is the Lord"s. It"s all in His hands. tell the old devil to leave you alone he has been defeated at the cross..may God's word bless you in some way..remember He loves you no matter what we have done in the past..
please remember our troops over yonder that they will have a safe holiday and will get to come home soon..
[/align][/align]Father thank you for your Word that is life changing..and if there is one here lost and without a Saviour may his be their day of freedom from the wiles of the devil and come to know you as Lord and Saviour..in Jesus name i pray..[/align][/align]

Amen- motor,, great words,,,,just becausewe are christiansdoes'nt mean life will be easier,,but it does mean we will have someone too help (carry) us through life,even the tough times we just have to remember to keep our eyes on Jesus when times are going good also
we need too remember God said:
with me all things are possible--rest in my love --I am your shield and protector --do not be anxious about anything--And one of my favorite ,,,,I am for you WHO can be against you?
