9 more days of students before summer vacation....
It's been a tough year..My class made the best gains in the school this year and possibly the county..God is wonderful .

One of my students came in my class with data to put him in a special education class for his low academics and behavior..I promiced a bass fishing trip for the most improved student..He won. We are fishing on Memorial Day.His behavior was awesome and his gains were the best in the county so the principal tells me.All my students made great gains. We had a pizza party today.

if I'm talking too much ..blame it on the extra Pepsi I drank..

Thanks , I know when we get a deer , big fish or turkey we post them and many of our fellow hunters rejoice with us..To me, I'd rather have this than a monster buck..When I saw my kids' records this year I wanted to quit my job..My principal pulled 10 'Special ' kids out and gave them to me. When I saw their scores and BEHAVIOR I was sick ...Last week the principal ask me how I did it .I said, "Inside a child is a need for God. They are not as tough as they look." You know I share the Lord with my kids...because how can they have any confidence without Him ?" "When a child knows their teacher loves God there is a special hook up with that child, they feel secure and will often tryto please the teacher." When a child gets an unbeleiver for a teacher there is alot more disrespect.

I felt a little stramge posting this thread BUT the Lord remnded me..when you shot the turkey did they not rejoice with you..Are not children more important than deer and turkeys? I'm not anyone special ..this is simply a testimony of the power of God.

I shared Jesus with 5 differnt staff members today including our prinicipal..God has revealed something wonderful to me..Most of you already know this truth..I didn't.

I thought our righteousness is filthy rags..THEY are not..IF christ Jesus lives in us..Our righteousness is actually His righteousness working through us..I know it may not sound big to some..BUT if you have been hating yourself for your whole life it's freedom and a revelation..Jesus is in me..working through me..and I;m saved ...THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good job Chuck. I had been 9 hours from ya, I've been in Georgia for the last month. Maybe one day, I'll do a project in FL. and we'll catch a few fish, and I'll teach you to shoot a bow...

I'd love to meet ya Rev..and I would also love to learn some tips from ya on bow shooting..We got our state scores back as well yesterday..All my kids are passing..Our school did great this year..My drill sergeant type principal was elated so I popped the qrestion...I said, "Mr. C my friend in Missouri has invited me to hunt again..if I tutir after school next year till Christmas can I take that week off to hunt..?" He said ,": yes sir, we can work something out." So I'm pumped..Rev, I'll be in GA July 13th..I've been invited to preach near Savannah. God is doing something wonderful in my heart.
I apreciate ya taking the time to reply...I really would love to meet ya if your ever in Florida.
