Well, some of you may know, most probably do not, I graduated from highschool this past Friday. Most exciting time in a "kids" life I would say.
I am an avid outdoorsman and love the game of baseball. I am captain on the varsity team and in good running for all-counference honors and playing college ball next spring.
Thursday, I broke my ankle sliding into home plate (stepped on by the catcher) and snapped the small bone outside the Tibia.
Now to the future, I have surgery on Wednesday and have never had such operations done, I am very nervous. I understand that I screw and plate are small, every day operations and things will go fine.
Please pray for:
[ul][*]Sucessful surgery[*]Fast recovery[*]Pease within self[*]What my future may hold (it is hard and I am questioning much of what is to come)[/ul]
I know things happen for a reason, but is just something you say until you realize what it is.
Thank you so much, in advance.
God Bless!

I know things happen for a reason, but is just something you say until you realize what it is.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. If we believe it, we can except it and give thanks in all things for this is the will of God.
But that doesn't forbid us to pray that his will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Will be praying for you Buckhunter and remember Jesus is on the throne
and he will never leave us or forsake us no matter what.Read Psalms 121
Take Care,Mike
The Lord says " we have not, because we ask not " .... So you ask the Lord for your prayers, and I'll ask the Lord for your prayers, and we will join in agreement for a successful surgery, and speedy healing, Gods Loving hand on you for peace, and for it all to make some sense to you....
But what ever it is, as long as it draws you closer to the lord,...... it is all good...
You brought Tears to my eyes. Not about the Break. But, your courage to come her and ask for prayers. I don't think I am an avid sports Fan. I played many Sports. My Kids played Basketball and Baseball. Are you a pitcher?
My Oldest son played Division III Basketball for a Year and a Half. I hope this is not Sour Grapes. But, if you can go and play that is great. IMHO NOW! its not all its cracked up to be. Its hard to get any Serious Money. If you get a FULL Ride it pays the Ticket. And that is Cool! It don't happen that way for most. I would say very few. My son would have saved money staying home and going to a Junior College and got as good of education. Probably not as good of people as he was around. And it was a good experience. If you are not anExecptional Player. Its about Money and Who you know?
This is as good a time as any for you learn this!
Example: If you were Sam Walton's son they would work with you if you had average Skills and really wanted to play. This is my Openion!
Buckhunter14...I just looked over your history of Posts. You Fish W...A...Y to much to be a Ball Player. Your going to be a Professional Fisherman! You got the looks for the Camera all you need is the Money![&:]
In 2006 John Lester of the Boston Red Sox was diagnosed with cancer and underwent chemotherapy. Last night he pitched a no-hitter against the Kansas City Royals.
