If we kill a human its a bad thing to do. What about a animal? I have killed a few. Either for food or they were causing problems.

I think if you peruse the first chapter of Genesis, you'll find that God gave us human types dominion over the other critters.

God gave us those critters for "meat".
God killed animals to provide "cloths" for Adam and Eve.
Abraham killed a calf and God stayed for dinner with Abraham there on the plains.
Jesus cooked fish for the Disciples.

Fred you really need to do some bible study brother. Kill, murder and hunt are as as different as rain, water, and moisture.

I believe that the sin of murder is in the heart . . .and that a dead body is just sometimes the result of it. To kill for food whether it is for myself or for another person or for any legitimate reason is not wrong.

I agree with you there. I feel even killing a animal can be a sin. It all depends how your feelings towards it is. If kill something for the fun of it for no reason at all then it wrong.
