Give me the Jewish imput here and correct me if need be.
The Feast of Firstfruits, is this correct? The priest went into the barley field as it was the first to mature, and took enough for a wave offering to God. Jesus being our high priest, rose from the dead as the firstfruits, insuring a full harvest to follow, needed also to have a firstfruits offering. Is this offering made up of those others who also arose and were see alive during that time?? Doesn't that garantee a full ressurection in the fullness of time?
