Ezekiel 28:14-17 Thou art the anointed cherub that coverteth; and I have set thee so; thou wast upon the holy mountian of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. V15 Thou was perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, til iniquity was found in thee. V16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountian of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. V17 Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou has corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
Isaiah 14:12-14 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations! V13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit upon the mount of the congregation, in the sids of the north: V14 I will ascend above the hights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
Why did Paul write, "let this mind be in you"? Because when Satan led Adam and Eve into their sinful obedience unto him, and disobedience unto the One True God, it was in response to a mental state of mind and desire. They weren't hungry! It wasn't because they didn't have every good thing that they could desire! It was because of the words, "Ye shall become as Gods". that lead them astray. A desire to govern their own actions and to direct their destination.Jesus said, "I come not to do my will, but thy will O God". His mind was under total submission unto the will and every word of Almighty God. There wasn't any question about whether the flesh, or the Spirit, was to reign supreme. No man can serve two masters!! If we have not the mind of Christ, we have the mind that passed upon Adam and Eve when they disobeyed their creator. The mind of Satan.
He that committeth sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning. 1 John 3:15 For this purpose was the Son of God manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. The work of "destroying" the works of the devil, therefore must begin in the mind of mankind. The man who has the "mind of Satan" has no God greater than himself!! He is not subject to the laws of God, neither in deed can be. He walks in his own strength and says in his heart, there is no God. He sees man as the highest of intelligent. Things he doesn't understand, are simply not meant to be understood. They are explaines simply as nature, gravitation, cohesion, chemical process, ect.
When it comes to real, hard, cold faith in a supreme creator with supreme intelligence beyond our comprehension, who said what he meant, and meant what he said, is presented, the mind of Satan rejects it. It responds with such quotes, as, "I know thats what it says, but it really means", Or "He wasn't speaking to us in that passage". ect, ect. The mind of Christ excepts, and lives by, every word! There is no arguement with the creator!
Hebrews 4:12-13 The word of God is a discerner of the though and intents of the heart.
God in his infinate wisdom has written a book, using men to pen his words, that is so complete that it fits and meetsthe needs of every man, gives light, understanding, and perfect wisdom. It checkmates every evil idea and design of Satans influence. It corrects every error. No evil doer should read Gods Holy Writ unless he wants to be condemned and convicted of his wayward status.
David said, Thy word is a light unto my feet, and a lamp unto my pathway.
Adam and Eve had no books written to guide them. They only had the word that God had placed in thier hearts. Abraham had no table of stones, He only has the law in his heart, but he believed God and it was counted to himfor righteousness.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ.
Submit yourselves unto the mighty hand of God, and he shall exalt thee in due time.
