God Bless, Chuck.

I have been there, about 8 years ago. The Lord took the bad ( my wife leaving me for someone else ) and gave me a new plan for my life. He has richly blessed me in my new family, and given me a deeper love for Him. I never could imagine how He could turn around something sobad and destructive. But once again He proved that His understanding and ways are so much Greater than my own...

I will be praying for you and the family.

Michael

thanks for all the prayers. It just feels like a bottomless hole falling thru total darkness. It all seem like a waste of time with all that the wife and I have been thru. I just find myself ? why and what for. At least both my kids are grown so they are not on the losing side of this...... Again thanks

I am real sorry for what you both are going through. A prayer has been sent and I pray that I may never ever ever know what that is like. At my church, we recognize the anniverseies each week. This gives hope to some of the middle and younger couples that it can last.

Again, sorry for what you are going through and a prayer has been sent.

hey Chuck, happy to hear from you sad that it is this way. I will be praying for you guys.

I know you are hurting right now and I am not trying to give false hope, but if you're up to it there is a book called LOVE and RESPECT by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs. It may help? Take care of yourself and keep praying for us all.

I remember seeing your name when I first came here. I don't feel as I know you like the rest do. And I can't indentifiy with what you are going thru. But, I care more than you will ever know. Put the Lord first and everything will take it rightfull order. Take it a day at a time, Hour by Hour, Min. by Min., Sec. By Sec. Don't beat yourself up, and don't Blame anyone. If you still love her, keep on Loving her notheing wrong with that. You will still be connected to her the rest of both of your lives. With, Kids and Grandkids I assume? Just continue to be a good person. Things may work out. I wish I had the right words to make it alright.

That is a good book and you will both be in my prayers. I'm going through the same thing (11 years for us) and know some of what you're feeling. PM or email me if you'd like and I would be more than happy to email or talk. FWIW, it helps if you have a buddy to talk with about all of the little daily things and help sort things out. Listening to christian rock music seems to help me a lot and keeps me more grounded. The # 1 thing I found that helped the most, however, was praying to God and asking him to carry the load. It will still hurt some, you'll still get sad and you will wonder why but you will also find a lot more peace, sleep better at night and find all of the daily things in life much easier to deal with. God Bless!!
