HELLO EVERYONE:WELL, THIS WILL BE THE LAST UPDATE ABOUT MY PRECIOUS CHARLES. HE PASSED THROUGH HEAVEN'S GATES ON 04-12-2008 AT 11:08 A.M. HE WAS IN A COMA AND IN NO PAIN. I HAD ASKED GOD TO PLEASE TAKE HIM QUICKLY AND GENTLY AND HE TOOK HIM IN HIS TIME AND HE TOOK HIM EVER SO GENTLY. IT WAS SO VERY HARD FOR JODY AND ME TO WATCH AS THE VAN DISAPPEARED OUT OF SIGHT CARRYING MY SWEET HUSBAND. IT WAS ABOUT 3:40 P.M. WHEN I LAST KISSED HIM GOOD-BYE. I WILL SEE HIM IN HEAVEN THOUGH SO IT REALLY WAS NOT GOOD-BYE. I WANT YOU ALL TO KNOW HOW VERY MUCH I LOVED MY CHARLES AND, OH MY GOODNESS, HOW HE LOVED LIFE AND ME AND MAKING PEOPLE LAUGH WITH HIS DRY SENSE OF HUMOR. SO I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR PRAYERS AND ALL OF YOUR KINDNESSES TO US THROUGH THE YEARS. WE BOTH APPRECIATED ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR US. I WANT YOU TO KNOW ALSO THAT I HAVE REALLY BEEN FEELING THE PRAYERS OF GOD'S CHILDREN AND I FEEL STRONG. I KNOW THE TOUGHEST TIME IS YET TO COME SO PLEASE REMEMBER OUR FAMILY AT THIS TIME WITH YOUR CONTINUING PRAYERS. WE THANK YOU!!!MUCH LOVE,GINNY

Live Life in such a way that those who do not know Christ will come to know Him because they know you
I did not know Charles, however, your post touched my heart. It sounds like something my wife will be writting someday. I just wish their were something I could do to bring him back for you. I will Pray for you and your family. God bless and be strong. He would want you to be Happy, not Sad. Don't ever feel Guilty that you are still here. He would want you to be Happy!
This is something that has been going on for quite a while now. My FIL has been in hospice care since early February. Janet and her brother went down for 11 days in mid Feb and he was expected to pass into eternity at that time. It's been "today or tomorrow" pretty much ever since they left. Someone from the family (one of the siblings) has been therecontinually to be with Janet's Mom when her dad expired. (Since that time, I found out about an uncle of mine who had discovered he had pancreatic cancer, went right into hospice care and died two weeks ago. We went to his funeral a week and a half ago.) My FIL died a very peaceful and dignified death and kept his mind right up 'till the end. It took a lot longer than we expected and we don't know why, but we don't question God's timing . . . he was not in much pain for the last month or so and was resting most of the time. We'll be heading down to Florida later this week for the memorial service and we do appreciate y'alls prayers. SinceJanet's family areall Christians, we can rejoice forher fatherat his going to be with the Lord.
