Default Sunday Sermonette

Good morning all, and welcome to the church on the net..it is a beautiful day here in Sanford, about 80 degrees with a slight breeze..God is good isn't He? as always, i ask yo to pray for those in need, whether it be health, or if someone is discouraged and down hearted..as i mentioned earlier this week a long time friend of mine went home to be with the Lord and then yesterday another friend and member of our group died, so please pray for the Mc Clintock family and Ken's ..are you glad we serve a God who hears and answers prayer? what a wonderful Savior..
Father, we thank you for you love and mercy toward us and we ask you to reach down your loving arms and comfort these who have lost loved ones and then Father to help those in according to your perfect will and we will thank you in Jesus name, Amen1 It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;
2 And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God... Daniel 6:1-5 KJV..
A few days ago Mac brought up some verses in Daniel 7 and i went back to chapter 6 to see what was leading up to 7 and these verse caught my eye..Most of us know the story of Daniel and the lion's den. We know how God closes the mouth of the lions and how the next morning they were opened for those who desired Daniel to be dead. Yet, what I have here today is what led to that event and the words which struck me as how I would like them to be spoken of me! Are the people who are around us and know something about us, would they have enough evidence within our lives to say, "This man or woman is a follower of God and the only way we will be able to get something on them will have to be related to them and their God!" I don't know about you, but would others be able to find enough on me to tie me to Jesus and the Father. Think about and let it touch the very inner soul of your being. do yo live a Christian life outside the church house? do you show yourself as a Christian on this forum? we as born again Christians all serve the same God no matter what denomination we belong to..we all know that there is but one way to Heaven and that is through Jesus the Christ..He says, "I am the way ,the truth and the life, I'm a Baptist..the bible says that,"Who so ever calls upon my name shall be saved." that means this ole Baptist, and my dear friend Mac who is Pentecostal and who ever else no matter what denomination folk, we need unity in Christianity..we need to pull together and not fight among our selves, and let the devil laugh at us..I know this is a tough lesson but it needs to be said, andI say it in love..God has given us life and all that pertains to life when we give our life to His Son. He will not withhold any good thing from His children if they seek His face and desire to honor God in the way we live our lives. It is sobering thought and each of us should take the time to look at our lives and make sure we are on the path that will as Daniel's life did to the Glory of the Father. Take time and let the Spirit touch each of us in the days ahead.
Father thank you again for your guidance down the road of life and may we as Christians and may we always be ready to share the hope that is within us to those we meet who are lost and on their way to hell.. If there is one here today who don't know you as LORD and SAVIOUR, may this be the day of their salvation..It's in JESUS name and for his sake i pray, Amen..

Well said Bro Wayne. The important thing is that we look unto Jesus the Christ "He will not withhold any good thing from His children if they seek His face and desire to honor God in the way we live our lives." It's that relationship with Jesus and our desire to obey, believe, and please him.

Thank You for the good Word , motor. I express my appreciation as I hang my head in shame...

Thank God for His mercy and longsuffering.

I pray for His strength to be better in my walk, and in my daily testimony.
