Default Tomorrow, April 9th....

is our First Anniversary!

We'll go to mass in the morning and then we're going to have an ice cream cone at the store where we met just like we did the day we met.

We haven't decided where to eat out yet, but leaning towards Chinese so I can gorge on rice and soup like a little piggy.

We've also decided on a date for our nuptial mass. We were planning on April 9th next year, but it turns out that date is during Holy Week, so that's out.So it will beAugust 26th this summer which is the day we met.

Say a little prayer for us please.

Happy Anniversary! We had 7 years on March 23rd and every year it just gets better. It is so hard to believe it has been that long, but I guess for most that isn't long at all. I know there are many on here that have 20 + years.

I am Happy for you, Remember, the Vow you took was to God. Not man, State, Government, but to God. That was a Serious thing, most don't know that when they get married, I didn't[&o]

I know you are young, however you are VERY Bright, Smart, Intelgent, Educated. If God is First in your lives you will have no problems. Anything can be worked out. When each other loves each other and God. Money, Sex, Family, Jobs, anything can be worked out, when you seek the others best.

You Love each other now why not love each other 60 years form know.

Aug. 15, will be 39 Years for my Wife and I!

Thank you for your good wishes. Keep in mind that the vows one makes in marriage are to each other, before God. We are continually aware of the promises we have made to each other. According to the Scriptures, the husband is the head of the house and we follow that principle. It solves a lot of questions.

That doesn't mean that I go around mindlessly waiting for him to tell me what to do. For example, he thought we should wait until I finished graduate school before we started a family. But I was able to persuade him that we should do it now by giving him all my reasons and he agreed with me.

We have already worked out many of the questions with which we will have to deal as time goes on.

Congratulations on the 39 years and I hope you have many more.
