Is. 9:6-7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder---of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgement and with justice from henceforth even for ever.
The government of God will stand even when the kingdoms of this "present evil world" are removed. Ps 2: 7-9 Christ will smite the nations with a rod of iron. Rev 19:16 on his thigh a name writtem, "King of Kings, and Lord of Lords".
His kingdom will have subjects, Matt 25:34 inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Every kingdom has laws which govern the subjects of the kingdom. That law was delivered on Sinia in Ex. chapter 20.
Ex 24:12 God says He had written them. Ex 31: 18 written by the finger of God. Ex 32:16 the writtings of God. Duet 5:22 He wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me. These commandments contain the principles of law that God has chosen to use to govern his Kingdom. They are the basis of Heavenly citizenship. They contain forever the principles of Gods standard of government for his subjects.
These were given that "ye sin not". Ex 20:20.Sin is the most greivious crime against God that we could ever commit.
Ro 7: 13 "That sin might become exceedingly sinful". Ro 3:20 "by the law, is the knowledge of sin". Ro 4:15 "Where there is no law there is no transgression"
Gods law is perfect. Ps 19:7 Gen 17: be ye perfect. Matt 5:48 Be ye perfect. Duet 18:13 "Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God". 1 John3:2 We are to be Christ like. How can that be? Is 51:7 Gods law in their heart. Meet (Worthy) to be partakers of the enheritance of the saints of God in light. Col 1:12. Heb 8:10 + Jer 31:33 I will put my law into their mind, and write it in their hearts; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.
Is 51:7 Harken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law. 1 Jo 5:3 This is the love of God, that ye keep his commandments.
Sin is the transgression of the law. 1 Jo 3:4, so to love God and to sin not we must love his law. not just the New Testament.
1 Peter 2:21 says we should follow in his steps, who knew no sin. The key? Ps 40;7 +Heb 10:5-7 yea, the law is within my heart.
To have Christ in our heart is to have the law in our heart. Matt 5:48, Ps 19:7, Ro 7:12, 14, Jo 4:23, Ps 119:142, 151, Ps 119: 172, Is 51:7, The moral law and the attributes of Christ are identical. The law is a transcription of Christs attributes. Christ was made of a woman, made under the law.
The law has been destroyed? The law has been done away with? The Law has nothing for us today? There is no continuation of the law from the Old Testament unto the New? God forbid, we would not even have a knowledge of sin, except the law said!! The most hated thing in the eyes of God is sin!
Repent and be converted!! How?? Ps19:7 The law of God is perfect, converting the soul.
Without the Law we would be lawless and we all know what the Word says about lawlessness.
The Lawlessness teaching come from a misunderstanding of some Pauline letters, which were meant for gentiles who anyway were not under the law ever and to begin with.
It is very strange to me that some teach lawlessness and yet in the Kingdom we read the Law will be establish for the Whole World ???

Here is the way I always perceived it. We know that Satan was the most beautiful angel and he developed an abundance of pride so much so that he thought he was entitled to rule his own piece, and God sent him to rule over hell, and he took fallen angels with him. Now we know that angels can fall but they are different than us. Once we die and are in God's kingdom satan can no longer touch us. No more temptation.
I know this is a bit off topic but speaking of the kingdom. On Sunday we were driving home from my brother's house and my 3 year asked mom where are we going? Are we going to the kingdom, with the castle? I can't see it mom it is so so far away. Can we go mom? It is so far away. Out of the mouths of babes. I would have never guessed that he would have comprehended that because we never explained it.
