"Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence." Matt.19:13-5 kjv.
The older we get the more set in our ways. for some it is hard to admit that a way of life or certain activities may not have been right for them, it becomes harder the older we get. we even know about the two year and their tantrums and what a time that can be in getting them to do what is desired. yet, Jesus let the disciples know that the kingdom of God belonged to the little ones or those who became like the little ones who were open to what God has for them. a lot of us need to grow up and realize that it is not the powerful and wise, but it is the little children who hear the Word and are able to discern the truths there in and then making a decision to follow what has been given to them. think back in your own life or if you have children into their lives and when you came to a saving knowledge of God and the life that is in the Son. if you were a child, you may remember the words spoken and how much sense it made to you. for me, i got saved when i was 13 years old..if you were older, then you can also remember maybe the other thoughts and reasons why you should NOT do what was being asked of you. For you and me, we must remember that Jesus died for all and that for one who is called as a child, there are a lot of heartaches that can be missed. Others will take it's place, but some things there is no reason to ever know about. As we celebrate the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, may our lives be a window that Jesus can be seen in us and allow others to have the peace we have. Have a great week-end and go to church on the Lord's day..

It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome.
