Default Sunday Sermonette

Good morning all and welcome to our meeting today..hope you all are doing well and that God has blessed you in many ways and i'm sure he has but we sometimes don't recognize it comes from Him do we?..there are many on our prayer list so i'll ask you to pray for one another that God will supply all our needs.

Father we thank you for all you do and for all you are going to do in our lives..you are so good to us, unworthy as we are..truly you are a wonderful Saviour.. we love you and thank you in Jesus name and for his sake, Amen..

33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Matt.12:33-37 KJV.

We live at time, where the bottom line is health and nothing else comes close. Money is great and there are other things which people are seeking, but if you gave a list of things of which you could only pick one item and good health was one of them, I believe most would go after this item. Yet, we know as children of God that we are to walk the path that God has for us regardless of what happens to our health. as most of you know, i have cancer of the bone marrow and a bad heart but i understand that God looks on the inside and not the outside of the person. God wants people who when are taken ill react in such a way that it can only be explained at the supernatural level. The real me comes out not when I know something bad is going to happen, but when I am completely blind sided and I am hit and hit hard. What happens? Is there a difference that sets us apart from others or are we saying, have had a rough week and I did not handle this correctly, but give me another day and another shot. Sounds human and we are, but if this comes up more often than victory in hard times, we must look at how and what we are doing with our time and energy. I am finding myself witnessing more as time goes along..i have had a one on one talk with maybe 6 or7 in the last week or so but you know i can do more than that.. Am I reading the Word daily, am i praying as often as i should, do i meditate on the Word or just read it..If no the we miss then, the best God has for us. We see that we make time for that which we want to do and we must learn that as a child of God, we must ask God to give us real direction from the Spirit of God, if we are more content doing things other than knowing God better and seeking to make Him known. Take time and allow the Spirit to direct your paths and He will make your step steady even in the times of trials and tribulations..God Bless you all..

thank you father for your word and what it can mean to us..and if there is one here today that does not know you as Lord and Master may this be the day, we ask in Jesus name, amen
