He divided the ten Kingdoms and made two Idols to represent God, he then Made sacrifices out side of the temple of Jerusalem thus breaking God's law.
He was a divider, such as we have today in churches.

what do Jeroboam"s sins have to do with us today? More than one would think, because the root cause of his sins is a temptation faced by most Christians today. Tolerance is a byword for virtue these days, but it was Jeroboam"s tolerance for that which was wrong which led to his disobedience, and ultimately culminated in the kingdom"s full-blown rejection of the Lord God of Israel. The Israelites did not immediately turn to Baal and Asherah, indeed, it took them many years to reach that state of apostasy. But the seeds of evil had already been sown by Jeroboam, in his willingness to tolerate forms of worship that God had expressly forbidden.

Jeroboam had a "modern day philosophy" which allowed his ideas to over-ride what was written in Gods word.
Take heed unto thyself and unto the doctrine, for in doing so, thou shalt save thyself and them that hear thee.
One mans disregard for Gods commandments caused the downfall of multitudes. Jeroboam caused Israel to sin because of his actions.

Jeroboam was afraid his followers would revert back to Judah if they returned to keep the feast as God commanded. All the males had to keep Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles, without fail. Jeroboam failed to see the need to "split hairs" over doctrine, after all just believing was enough, and going to church alone was signs of being spiritual. Why be so dogmatic and fanatical? Any way will do! After all it isn't what you believe, but in whom you believe!
Sound familiar? He caused Israel to sin while they worshipped. There is true worship, and there is false worship!! Which are we offering unto God?

Are we living in the last days?

1. Are not most churches carnal minded and preaching a watered down gospel by word and example"

2. Has not Satan polluted and corrupted the minds of most through the use of music and television?

3.Folks will continueto get scammed as the love for things ensnares them..while their wasted spending will one day testify against them fo rnot hearing the cries of the poor.

4. Carnal minded 'Christians ' will continue to split theological hairs instead of being a conduit to reach the loss..instead they are lost in the smokescreen of pride.

I think we are in trouble my friend..The world is spinnng out of control..Yes, the man of peace may come in givesome kind of short relief but don't bank on it.He will come at such an hour as this..Strenghthen the things that remain and surrender your life 100% to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Be the real Christian God has called each of us to. Many are called but few are chosen. The road to Heaven is a narrow road.."Few there be that find it." It's dispised by most. Set your affections on things above NOT on things of this earth..for this earth shall dissolve with fervent heat.

Just a wake up casll my friends.

Carnal churchs, watered down messages, corruptminds, splitting theological hairs, lost in the smokescreen of pride, few there be that find it.
All I know to tell you is I am the same guy that you were throwing praise at when I first come on board. I may be guilty of mellowing out a little with age, may be that is the problem.
Know you and I both know that the problem started after you openly asked (on this forum) for Bro Mac and myself to keep you straight as you had a hard time seeing the forest for the trees. I send you a PM about a new doctrine that you were picking up. After that PM I ceased to be a "man of the spirit", and became the board trouble maker. One thing about me is "what you see is what you get". No phoney, put on, make believe, false front.
Practice loving me Bro

Why is that you pull that 2005 card out every tim eyou are admonished..And why drag leaf into it.?? Back then you fooled me..really good too. I'm no longer fooled. Your actions reveal your hert my friend..You actually fool no one..not even God."He that loveth not knoweth not God..I send you a PM about a new doctrine that you were picking up. After that PM I ceased to be a "man of the spirit", and became the board trouble maker. No Snooky..just about every post and reply you post reveals one thing..trouble...I think yo beleive you are a prophet or something ..I remember you mentioning that before. Holiness is a good think Charles..but true holiness bears desirable fruit..not thorns. One thing about me is "what you see is what you get". You got that right.....Jesus doesn't want us to be like that Charles..We are to be conformedto His image..No phoney, put on, make believe, false front.

Snook..if I didn;t love you I wouldn';t have wrote this..I take no pleasure in writing replies like this..I strive to follow peace with all men..to demonstrate mercy ..I've said what I felt I needed to say..and I'll leave it at that.
