Good morning all! How great it is to wake up on this resurrection morning, knowing that our Saviour is alive and well..yes my friends we serve a risen Saviour not some old wooden statute or some man who can do nothing for us..I know there are many that need prayer today so please pray for one another that God will answer their needs according to his will..

Father we humbly come before you this day so unworthy and unlovable, yet you loved us enough to send your Son to die for our sins. help us Father, strengeneth us and give us understanding of thy precious Word.. In Jesus name we pray Amen...

1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. 2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
Matthew 28:1-10 kjv.
Lookimg back through the tunnel of time ,we can see the two Mary's there,Mary Magdalene who Jesus had cast out the seven devils and the other Mary, the mother of James and Joses and the mother of Zebedee's children..how sad they must of been to believe that Jesus was dead and sealed in this tomb..and then there was a great earthquake and an angel came down from heaven to roll back the stone, but not to let Jesus out but to show them that He was not in the tomb..then the angel gave them the greatest news they could hear.. He is not here for He has risen, come see where He WAS!!.. Glory to God! can't you see them in your mind's eye, how happy they must hve been and how they ran to tell the others that He has risen..and then in verse 10 what a great promise for them and us 2000 years later.."Be not afraid, go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me".. well one day dear friends, we too will see him, in the clouds, in all his glory and splender.. because of his resurrection, we who are born again will receive eternal life.
"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live" John 11"25
and we also receive spiritual power,
"And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places," Ephesians 1:19-20
Isn't it great to know we serve a living Saviour? one who hears our prayers and answers them. I praise God today that He is there for us anytime we need him, if we would just believe and put our trust in him..

Father thank you for Jesus, He who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified and buried, and rose from the grave and is alive today at the fathers side waiting to come for his saints..we thank you for his resurrection because without it we would die in our sins with no hope..Father if there is one here today that does not have that hope of eternal life with you, may this be their day of salvation.. In Jesus name and for his sake we pray, Amen..

Thank you Wayne, Nikolai has a really bad cold so I am home today and I was looking forward to reading your sermonette so much today. I thank the Lord for a brother with such a loving and devoted heart. Happy Easter!
