Are there times when you think no one cares? maybe it's when the storms of life come upon you, sickness, money problems or when the dark clouds of despair an discouragement hover over you and has taken the sunshine out of your life..David said in Psalm 31:11-12,
"Because of all those who hate me, I have become a shame to my neighbors. Even my friends do not want to be with me. Those who see me on the street run from me. I am forgotten like a dead man and they do not think about me. I am like a broken pot"
But do you know that in times like these when your friends seem to forget you.and they don't call or write, these are the times when we can feel God's tenderness down deep in our heart and soul..when the days are long and lonely and no one seems to care, He reaches down His loving arms and loves and comforts us as no one else can.. oh dear friends in my 79 years i can recall many times He has spoke to my soul and brought peace and comfort..what a wonderful God we serve! Our sorrow does not burden Him but draws out His tender compassion. He knows the troubles of our soul v-7, and He cares. knowing that we can commit our spirit into His hands v-5, as Jesus did when all His friends left him at His death..oh what a wonderful Saviour we serve..do you remember that old hymn,
Does Jesus care, when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press, and the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?
Answer is yes, He invites us to bring our burdens and cares to Him..
O yes, He cares-I know He cares!
His heart is touched with my greif;
When the days are weary and the long nights dreary;
I know my Saviour cares..
Have a great week and tell some one about Jesus.
