Default Trinity vs. Oneness Thread

It's gone. I apologize to anyone who was trying to give honestinsight and information, and anyone looking for the same. I hadn't looked at the thread until a few minutes ago, and it was too far gone to salvage.

I'll take this opportunity to pointout a few things.

First, I don't have the time to read over every thread. Making remarks about how I moderate on the open board doesn't help a thing. I've asked time and again that, if you see something offensive, p.m. or e-mail me so I can look into it. Grown folks shouldn't need a babysitter watching every move made/every word typed--especially those who proclaim to be so religious.

Name calling is against the rules. Technically the term "cult" can be used in referance to any religion (if you don't believe me, just look it up) but obviously it was used as a slur and slanderous term in that thread. Knock it off.

If you don't hold to a certain belief, don't try to proclaim what that belief entails. Maybe you know a little about it, but you'd do better to ask. Keep in mind that not all congregations, even those with the same name on the building, hold to the exact same teachings--much less the individuals that attend. You can't say what everyone that goes to the same church you attend believes, much less any others.

If you want to see this forum gone for good, keep it up. This particularforum has been teetering on the brink for a long time. It's sad that a bunch of adults who claim to be Christians spendso muchtime slandering and name-calling, not to mention breaking board rules left and right, that "their" forum is considered more trouble than it's worth.

Finally, before I get any p.m.'s, e-mails, and/or posts about "well, so-and-so said this before I said that", don't bother. I didn't read over nearly the whole thing, andI'm not trying to point fingers at anyone.I purposely didn't look at who said what. I looked at some posts, and when I saw enough to make a decision I took care of it. If something I've said here steps on your toes, then I guess you need to think a little harder before you post next time.

Chad

I just want to clarify that my last post to LBR on this thread was edited because I posted here what was intended to be sent by PM. I'm sure that LBR was correct in pulling the thread. If in any way I was percieved as being rude I apologize. I don't hold any grudges, their a waste of energy, and counter productive towards future discussion.
