i am scared

I was watching this video on this site www.godtube.com Its was about hell the way they showed and talked about well its not the place to go. They were saying that most people wont go to heaven thats scary. I believe Jesus is the savior but I am still a sinner. I know my sins are forgiven. I want to be saved and not thrown into hell.

In 1994 a prinicipal got mad at me and assigned me to teach Adjudicated Youth Highschool.

When I read the student's cummulative folders I was scared to death..Here are just a few students/

1. Eric ... Eric hit a boy so hard his eye socket was crushed and the eye was no longer in use.

2. Alan....robbed an elderly couple and stole their guns

3. Larry..shot a boy in the hand

4. Steve...sexual abuse.

adn nearly all ....crack cocaine..

etc etc. etc.

I was scared to death...These were all special education youth so they knew the judge would give them many chances.My wife was home schooling our kids at this time so I couldn't quit my job. I recalled a verse in 1 John 4 ..."Perfect love cast out all fear." I realized then..I obviously don't have perfect love because I'm scared to death. I would encourage you to do the same thing.Fred .take your fears to God..I ended up having a great year..this was the Wisdom I recieved from God for my situation..The Holy Spirit spoketo me and said," You can't hate someone your praying for." Write their names in your Bible and pray everyday for them. I did .I even let the boys know I was praying for them. Prayer is enough Fred..God wants you to cast all your cares and worries upon Him my friend.He loves you. I want to encourage you to get away at least once per day to pray to God..talk to Him like you would your own father..for He is your Heavenly Father..and desire His wisdom more than riches..his Wisdom is in the Bible..You would benefit from reading Proverbs..There are 31..I read the Proverb that corresponds with each day's date..Today is Feb. 20th..so read Proverbs 20..It will answer your question about drinking..in verse 1 to be exact..
