Folks,
The Word says "Ye shall be witnesses after ye recieve the Holy Spirit." I'm challenging you all to speak to one stranger a day about Christ Jesus. If you are afraid then you must ask yourself why.. NOTE ..a stranger could also include a neighbor or fellow worker that you have never talked to before concerning the things of God..I have many..
If you are totally afraid then buy some gospel tracts and hand out one.not in a bathroom but to a real person..
Folks.. I think we need to take our Christianity one notch higher..to the lost. Anyone can preach to the choir as we are doing here..behind a plastic keyboard..[8D]
1. Don't worry if you don't know your Bible..just be available. He will give you the words.
2. Don't worry about saving anyone..you can't save anyone..you are simply sowing a seed.
3. You don't feel worthy??? my friend..forgiveness is just a prayer away.."He is faithful and will forgiveyou of all unrighteousness if you simply confess your sins to him.1John 1:9
4. What if you studder..than become a fool for Christ. sake
5. What if you ar embarassed..then read the verses below..
Matthew 10: 32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
i think the way we lead our lives does that, i have people approach me on a regular basis, and just want to "talk" pretty cool really...as one of the wise posters on here says "witness daily, use words if you have too"
but i know i can do a better job, and will try
keith
Ya'll have a blessed day

Brother, I have this in my signature...."Live Life in such a way that those who do not know Christ will come to know Him because they know you"....No Words..

Live Life in such a way that those who do not know Christ will come to know Him because they know you
That reply may sound nice..but is it scripturally correct..
I beleive only partial..
I will respond by asking a few questions..
1. Did the apostles in Acts use their lives alone as a testimony or the Word of GOd?
2. Can my life save anyone...or is it not the Word that saves?
3. Can a sinner hear the Word if I keep silent..?
We have a precious Baptist lady who leads our Thurs.morning Bible study.I have many of her 2nd grade kids..Just for the heck of it I ask my students ..Is Mrs. Copeland a Christian.?.they said no..she's a nice lady though. Folks it is both..it is our reasonable serviceto walk the talk..and it's our reasonable service as well to spread the Word..The good soil in Matthew 13 produces fruit..What produces fruit?..seeds..the Word of God is the seed..sown in love which is your behavior. So it is both..you must sow in love BUT don't keep silent..Don't be ashamed of Him..We have this treasure in earthen vessels..Allow yourselves to be used in doing your reasonable service...sowing the Word..in love.

how you act, live, and respond to everyday situations speaks volumes about who and what you are
ever had someone come to you and say "i want what you have" " or "whats your secret" doors are opened all the time, take every opertunity too utlilize them
BTW, i agree with what your saying, but alot of what happens depends on how receptive the person is, if they don't want it they'll never get it IMO

I believe as Im have stated before, that God makes the first move. he comes to you. And how he does that is up to him. Basically I am saying you are all right.
After thought and reread Chuck, who determines who is a sinner You?. Spread the word, fine, The rest is out of bounds as far as I am concerned. You are not the Judge. I see many people on this board who judge and that really gets me in a dander.
how you act, live, and respond to everyday situations speaks volumes about who and what you are Yes sir..but it won't save anyone..it may make one thirst for a life like yours...but someone needs to share the gospel with them.
BTW, i agree with what your saying, but alot of what happens depends on how receptive the person is, if they don't want it they'll never get it IMO Our job is not that they get it Keith..but simply to sow the seed.{The Word} Jesus is the savior..we are the sowers..When I was witnessed to by some folks..they wagged their heads in doubt as they shared the Word to a cigerette smoking foul mouth like me..They had no idea they would be baptizing me one hour later..They simply shared the Word..I beleived and was saved.. I totally agree with leading a life of righteousness...that helps a ton..but the WOrd is the seed for the soil of their hearts. Without the seed..nothing can grow..
In Summary..the purpose of replying to you MT..is not that I'm not understanding what you are saying..Shoot..your one of my favorite people..but rather sowing the seed to others the importance of sharing the Word..I know I personally benefited from the teaching I got from David Jeremiah..#1 It made me want my life to reflect God's Word.more.and to .stop so much jesting.#2 ..it reminded me of the power of God's Word..I'd forgotten that.. God bless, C7
hey chuck, i picked up a guy the other day that was having car trouble, for the first 3-5 minutes he was in my vehichle all he did was cuss, rant and rave, and telling me how the whole world was against him, i drove him home, well out of my way (about 20 minutes worth) when he had exhausted all his fustration i told him laughing "well i was you 10-15 years ago" we started talking and he relaxed and his fustration was diminshing.. i have a cd in my vehichle that i keep i have made many, many tapes of it, i told the guy how my life had changed, and that i really thought that this tape would give him a little different outlook on life in general. we talked for about 2 hrs, i gave him one of the copies of the tape.. he promised he would listen too it, i invited him to sunday service and even offered to help look at his vehichle..
then i got something i really wasn't expecting, he came toworship service Sunday morning, the man had really had a bad run of luck, he was not dressed like the rest of us and said he felt embarrased, i assured him that he would be fine as well as some of our other memebers assuring him the same, not only did he come sunday morning, but he also attended the evening service...
BTW, I/we fixed his vehichle, but i believe we had some extra help(his only mode of transportation) i bought the part, and he insisted he'd repay me this friday, but he already has if you know what i mean i called a friend that works at a dealership, he told us what was wrong and the part was a whopping 38$, you'd think i gave the guy 1000$
