Prayers needed

Hey y'all. I know I don't post as much as I used to, but I still read many of the threads 4 or 5 times a week.

Here's what's happening. My father-in-law has been suffering from MDS (pre-leukemia) for about 2 1/2 years. It's gone into full-blown leukemia now and he was put on hospice care late last week. He has also lost all interest in eating and can't keep down the little bit he forces in. His wife has been told that he has 2 days to 2 weeks at most before he goes home to be with the Lord. He IS saved and has done missionary work and always been very active in the churches where he was a member -including church planting in central Florida. My wife is leaving later today to go be with him before he leaves the earth and then my entire family will be going down to Florida again for the memorial service.

My request is for the family left behind.ALL are saved Christians so we know we'll see him again, but it's sad to see my wife try to bravely handle this. She's always been close to her father - her mother (and sisters) are going to have a very hard time. If you all would say a quick prayer for safe (multiple) trips down there and for the comfort of those still here, I'd be grateful. Thanks.

There is one perk about having snail paced internet! I had time to pray for you and your family while waiting for the window to come up.

Praise God he's is going home to be with his Lord and we have the consolation that one day soon we will be with him..yes you will be saddened by the passing of his human body but as the psalmist wrote, "Weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning"
