Fasting?

how many of you have ever tried it, I think im gonna give it a shot everbody that ive asked that have done it say it is unbelievable how much closer you feel to God and how much better and healthier you eat when your done I mean Jesus did it for 40 days before he was tempted anyways what do you guys think???

Good for you, I think its good that you wanna try it. Unfortunately with the appetite i've got i doubt i'd manage i cant go 4 hours without food lol

I fast alot my friend..For me..it's the only way to rid oneself of oneself..YEs..it is the difference between night and day.

a. lust leaves automatically,
b. love is esay
c.witnessing is easier.
d. joy and peace come
e.faith triples

Just remember..fasting without prayer is simply dieting..

It's called fasting and praying..there is a world of difference.
For me..when I don't fast I'm simply a Romans 7 man..I try to do good but I fail..Fasting kicks it up a notch into the Romans 8 man..the Spirit filled life..We are to actually live a fasted lifestyle.."Taking up your cross daily."
