Default Okay, I'm outta here!!

You can have your forum back. I won't be bothering you anymore. I have had to conclude that I am just not holy enough to consort with you folks.

I must have missed something again. Who is Holy enough? cricket... cricket... cricket... (Reminds me of the story of when Jesus was taking about who will throw the first stone).

I don't think you need to leave. The reason for these forums is to discuss our beliefs. Only on rare occasions are you gonna find that everyone agrees or believes the exact same things you do. Some are more strongly convicted in areasothers are not.

Something we Christians, including myself, have a problem with, is sharing our opinions with LOVE. And becuase of that we come across offensive and feelings get hurt when we should be sticking together and helping eachother out.

Sorry if this feels like a punch in the gut, but you'll be back........You can't stay away from usNo but seriously I'll be thinking about you. There are a lot of us on here that love your posts. I love that you are firm in your faith, and that you soak up the bible like a sponge. Like remington girl you were a bit on the defense which gets your emotions running a bit rampant it happens to the best of usHave your wonderful hubby give you a hug for me, and give Miriam a hug too and I am sure you'll feel better it works for me.

Im on the defensive because people 3000 miles away are saying that i need to be saved when they dont even know me and are judging me, its like SC all over again....[]

I just want to be friends with people but without bringing religion into because it only causes problems in my experiances.

Be safe.

Sarah.

Step, I feel responsible for starting this mess. I am sorry, hang out here. I'll stay away until you feel better. I'm sorry others got into our tizzy, that wasn't fair.

Sarah,

I have not judged you.... That is not my place. If you read my post, I explained what I was saying, and you do need to be saved. We all need to be saved. .... Perhaps if that is what you call judgement, the people in SC were not nearly as judgemental as you are inferring. Perhaps you are touchy to Gods Truth.

Also, please help me to understand why you would enter a religion forum and want people to be nice to you , but not talk to you about Religion and God and Jesus and Salvation.... I really cannot understand that one. Also, if you respond to a topic on the religion forum it is silly to think that people will not respond or question you about your post....

If you are seeking Truth, then this forum is great. If you are seeking friends, then this forum is great, but if you are trying to get people to be your friend but not duiscuss religion on this forum....... I don't think that will happen. But we as Christians arenot here to please the world, but instead Worship and Love our Savior, Jesus Christ, and to spread His Good News to every corner of the earth.

God Bless

I can tell you that thepeoplein SC were very judgemental as they said ineeded to be saved because my mother is catholic and how they were talking about me behind my back and i eventually found out. Also a few approached my boyfriend and said that he should get rid of me as i am not pure etc and other really nasty things that i dont want to mention as this goes way deeper that my family are involved now. I guess no one will ever know what i went through in a strange country on my own, i didn't know what to think i felt so unwelcome.

I don't mean this to be rude and I guess you'll just have to trust me on this one, but you are in a religion forum. I am sorry that you have not had good experiences here. It should not be like that. Truth be told a lot of us have been hurt by fellow Christians, and being that we are communicating on a computer makes it easier to be hurt. We can't see each others facial expressions or hear the tone of vioce in which people are talking. I do hope you decide to stick around. I know that Catholics in general have a bad rap and there are a lot of things that made me decide not to be Catholic but being a certain religion does not mean you aren't saved.

One final note. I am not sure what you mean by you don't need to be saved but I think this is the major hang up. If you are a Christian you believe and have faith in Jesus Christ, you profess you are a sinner, and you need Jesus as your personal Saviour. Can you please elaborate on what you mean by this statement. Maybe can you give your testimony so I can get to know you better?

I am sorry if you took offense by my saying you were being defensive I wasn't trying to say it in a condemning way but rather trying to explain that I understand where you are coming from. I would like to be your friend, just understand that I am a Christian and I will speak of Christianity. I hope you decide you can trust me.

I think we are focusing a little to hard on how OTHERS are judging people and we need to worry more about our own problems.

The way I look at it is if other people are gonna judge me, thats there deal and there is really not much I can do about it and will do my best to not let it stress me out. Don't make thier problems your own. We have enough stress in our lives to worry constantly about others judging us.

There is only one Judge in life and thats the one we need to consider.
