Default Sunday Sermonette

Here we are, coming up on the last week in January..where does time go? but the question is, what do you do with your time? are you serving the Lord with all your heart? just something to think about because maybe we could do more for the cause of Christ..I know i haven't done all i could so let's committ ourselves to serving the Lord in these last days..yes my friends, i believe He is coming soon so let's be ready..many need our prayers today, some for health reasons and some are discouraged and some have other needs so let's pray that God will intervene..

Dear Heavenly Father we thank you for what you have done and what you will do for us..please help those in need and we thank you in Jesus precious name, AMEN..

1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:1-5 KJV.

All too often we kinda get confused about our walk with God. It is not automatic and it is not for everyone. yes, Scripture states that God would have that all come to repentance, but since we have free will and God don't force us, there will always be ones who defy authority in what ever form there is. we see that here everyday! you and I have been there and we probably defy authority every day.. do you speed? do you borrow things from work? If someone overpays you, do you make sure they get the excess back? you know where you stand and you also know that our actions will show others who we represent. Is it the world or God? there is the action but that action for us must be accompanied by the leading of the Spirit for what we do. now it would be very nice if everything we had to do, we could hear the audible voice of God: "motor, do this." "motor, do that." but we have the Word of God and for each who has called upon the name of God the Spirit of God dwelling within our bodies. Now when that is true, then you can live in a life of victory since the God of the universe lives within you. There is none more powerful or meek than our God. As we head into the week-end, may you have opportunity to be a witness and may His love flow through you.Thank you again for your Word, and i pray it will be a blessing to someone today and Father if there is one here that is lost and without a Saviour may this be their day of salvation..in Jesus name i pray, amen..

Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press, and the cares distress
And the way grows weary and long?

Refrain

Oh yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary, the long nights dreary,
I know my Savior cares.

Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?

Does Jesus care when I've tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief there is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?

Does Jesus care when I've said "goodbye"
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?
