Your prayers were answered!! Mom was released from the hospital and told that the pain she was having could be treated with a new med that has come out. don't know the name, but she said she is not in pain at this time. Doc told her that she has a blocked artery on the back side of her heart, too small to balloon, and at her age (77) they will not bypass it. so, she must endure what pain she gets. it's really hard to give medicine to her, as she is bad diabetic, and must juggle heart meds with diabetic meds and blood pressure meds, and sometimes, they don't interact too well. she says she is resting easy now, and is trying to finish a quilt top she is making for her pastor's wife. she wanted to give it to them at Christmas, but she just wasn't able to work on it. i've seen it and it's beautiful! thanks again for your prayers, and if you think about it, please remember her when you pray-Velma Smith. thanks, and remember-though i may not respond when they are posted, i do honor each prayer request you post with my prayers. we serve a God who still does miracles, and He is still in the healing business. thanks again.
