Its was an evening bowhunt in Huron County Michigan, 2004.
It was a mid October evening and I was sitting in my stand listening to the trees blowing when I looked up into the blue sky and I could see the leaves as they changed their color.
I looked up and took a deep breath and I thanked god for providing me with the opportunity to hunt and enjoy the outdoors...as I relaxed and felt the cool air brush acrossed my face I began thanking god for all the things he has given me in my life....
During the act of expressing my thanks a leaf dropped from 30 feet...and made its way directly on the tip of my nose. At that moment I felt chills run down my spine and I knew right then and there he was listening to me. From that day forward I have always tried to say a prayer of thanks when I'm enjoying the beautiful land that he has given us......

I'm not sure I agree with that. I've mentioned on another thread somewhere that I will often sit on my husband's lap while nursing Miriam and we say the rosary together while daddy puts his arms around us. I feel that the Spirit is together with us.
I'm sure that we can feel our Lord with us whenever we open ourselves to His presence in our lives.

I'm not sure I agree with that. I've mentioned on another thread somewhere that I will often sit on my husband's lap while nursing Miriam and we say the rosary together while daddy puts his arms around us. I feel that the Spirit is together with us.
I understand that you don't agree. However, as you get older and if you don't have that same feeling. I want you to remember what I have said.
IMHO you are feeling the Love, of your Hubby and that Special Baby. Warm Fuzzy Feelings, Emotionsand then to add Praying to that, is OK, but I am just not sure it is Gods Spirit you are feeling. NOW, God has made ALL those feeling and we would not have them if it weren't for him. As you well know the mind is a strong thing. It can do NIce things, Crazy Things, Bad things, their are people here who say God Spoke to them.
I could say God spoke to me and wanted me to write this.But I haven't heard anything Yet!
And it thru his Teachings, Bible, Education, that I am wrighting this. He sent his son to die for all of us and his Son has the New Testament, and without sheding of Blood their is no Testament. I don't think he is going OVER rideHis Son's Athourity we MUST do what his son says to do!
