Earthquakes shake Israel during Annapolis summit, as rabbis remind the people there is a biblical precedent for such divine judgment.

[/align]As the nations of the earth gathered in Annapolis to divide Israel"™s God-given inheritance, there were rumblings here at home"”literally. In a highly unusual event, four minor earthquakes struck Israel in the two weeks surrounding the "śpeace"ť conference.
Israel"™s top rabbis said it is a sign from God.

Rice: Israel must divide Jerusalem
[/align]
Palestinian officials who met with visiting US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Sunday said they received assurances that the Bush Administration will bring all its weight to bear on Israel to make sure Jerusalem is divided as part of an Israeli-Palestinian final status peace agreement it hopes to oversee at next month's peace summit in Annapolis, Maryland.
A senior Palestinian negotiator who took part in the meeting told WorldNetDaily that Rice promised to pressure Israel to halt all Jewish construction in the eastern half of Jerusalem, and to publicly blame Israel for the lack of peace in the region if the upcoming summit breaks down as a result of Israel's failure to surrender the holy city.
The government of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has signaled its willingness to turn over Arab-dominated neighborhoods in eastern Jerusalem to the Palestinian Authority, but the latter is also demanding that Israel uproot large Jewish-dominated neighborhoods there as well.
Earlier in the day, Rice got an earful from Israeli leaders who do not see any realistic chance for peace at the planned Annapolis conference.
Defense Minister Ehud Barak told Rice that Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas remains incapable of exercising security control over large Palestinian cities, and said that Israel could not possibly agree at this time to reduce its military presence in Judea and Samaria, let alone allow full Palestinian sovereignty there.
Industry and Trade Minister Eli Yishai carried a similar message, explaining to Rice that Abbas holds sway over only a portion of Palestinian society, and that making peace with him would not necessarily mean an end to the conflict.
Ynet quoted Yishai as saying that even his right-wing religious Shas Party is ready to make "real Israeli concessions. But these concessions must be made when we have a real partner which is capable of controlling its people. This is not the situation now with Abbas."
In what was described by The Jerusalem Post as a cordial and warm meeting with Olmert, the American was informed that the current Israeli government views a Palestinian state as a fait accompli, but insisted that Israel would stick to the reciprocal peace steps laid out in the US-authored Road Map peace plan.

Three small earthquakes in Israel over the past month have prompted seismologists there to warn that the region is ripe for a major quake in the very near future, AFP reported Monday.[/b]
According to the report, the Syrian-African fault line that lies below Israel and the West Bank has historically been responsible for triggering a massive quake in the area about every 80 years. Given that the last big quake hit the area on July 11, 1927, experts said a big one could be coming any day.
"We can say with certainty that an earthquake of a magnitude of six on the Richter scale could take place in the coming years," Yefim Gitterman from the seismology department at the geophysical institute of Lod, near Tel Aviv, told AFP.
"It can happen tomorrow or in years to come," he said. "Statistically, there is a major quake every 80 years."
According to the report, the Lod institute estimates that a magnitude seven earthquake striking the northern Jordan Valley or the Dead Sea would kill between 8,200 and 9,500 people, injure more than 20,000, and leave more than 20,000 homeless.

Then the return of Messiah could be closer than most think, because in Prophecy a great earthquake will occur which will cause a rift between the dead sea along the land which will cause fresh water or living waters to flow into the dead sea.
It is one of the last prophecies to be fullfilled.

President George Bush has scheduled a Middle East conference to take place on November 27, 2007, in Annapolis, Maryland. The object of this conference is to divide the land of Israel. This is the latest in a series of meetings and agreements, starting in October 1991 with the Madrid Peace Process and continuing with Oslo I and II, Wye, Camp David, Tennet, Mitchell, and Saudi agreements.
Click here to order John McTernan's book, As America Has Done to Israel. John traces the history of the Jewish people in America and how the USA is unique among all nations through blessing the Jews. This book reveals a spiritual aspect of America's beginning, its spectacular rise to power, and how this was tied into blessing the Jews. With great detail the author reveals the current connection between America interfering with God's prophetic plan for Israel and awesome disasters striking America.
All these meetings and agreements have in common that the United States of America sponsored or supported them. America is the major force behind these meetings. The common thread is that Israel must surrender land for "peace." The term "peace plan" is just a code word for Israel to give away land.
These conferences and agreements are directly contrary to the Word of God. America is interfering with the holy God of Israel's prophetic plan for His people and the ultimate redemption of mankind through the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus. The land of Israel was given by God to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their descendants by an everlasting covenant:
[blockquote]
Psalm 105:9 "Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance"
[/blockquote]
The upcoming Annapolis conference's aim is to divide the covenant land including Jerusalem. The United States called this conference with the goal of dividing Israel and giving the land to Israel's enemies. The full power of the United States is behind dividing the land of Israel; therefore, the LORD God of Israel is now directly against America. For God's prophetic plan to go forward, the United States must be stopped. This means He must break the power of the United States. Let us look at the objectives of the Annapolis meeting:
[ul][*]To divide Jerusalem and give the Temple Mount to the Muslims.[*]To cede all of Judea and Samaria and establish an Arab terrorist state called Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital.[*]To give the Palestinians control of the mountain ridge overlooking Israel, placing all the large population centers within range of Katusha rockets.[*]To expel hundreds of thousands of Jews from their cities and to destroy their communities.[*]To allow huge numbers of Palestinian refugees into Israel; thus, changing the demographics of the nation.[/ul]
The conference identifies the land to be divided as the "West Bank," meaning the West Bank of the Jordan River. The Bible calls this land Judea and Samaria. This is the very heart of the land promised to the Jewish people by God's everlasting covenant. Running through Judea and Samaria as a "spine" are the Mountains of Israel. These mountains are slated to become part of this planned Palestinian state. The Prophet Ezekiel speaks directly to this situation and shows the great danger the United States faces. America is directly confronting the prophetic word of God hovering over the Mountains of Israel.
Ezekiel states that the prophetic word of the holy God of Israel is actually directed at these mountains. There is a specific prophecy about these mountains that must come to pass.
[blockquote]
Ezekiel 36:1,4,6"Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:...Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about; ...Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys."
[/blockquote]
The prophet goes on to show that the Mountains of Israel were desolate, but now will once again be inhabited and blessed.
[blockquote]
Ezekiel 36:8-11 "But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come. For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown: And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded: And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD."
[/blockquote]
The regathering of the Jewish people back to the Mountains of Israel and the blessing of the land are all part of God's plan for the salvation of the nation. It is God, through political and social events, that is bringing the Jewish people back to the Mountains of Israel. He is giving the Jews their inheritance:
[blockquote]
Ezekiel 36:12 "Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men."
Ezekiel 36:23-24 "And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land."
[/blockquote]
According to Ezekiel 36:23,24, God will use the regathering of the Jews to the Mountains of Israel as part of His process for all the nations to know that He is the LORD.
The Prophet goes on to say that the LORD God of Israel is against the Arabs (Idumea) who have taken the Mountains of Israel for their own possession! They do this with an evil heart and despiteful mind. By President Bush calling for a Palestinian State and removal of the Jews from the Mountains of Israel, he is siding with those who God is against. The judgment aimed at Idumea is now also aimed at the United States.
[blockquote]
Ezekiel 36:5 "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey."
[/blockquote]
The conference calls for the dividing of Jerusalem. The Prophet Zechariah shows that Jerusalem will be a burdensome stone that cuts in pieces all that come against it. Jerusalem will be the undivided capital of Israel.
[blockquote]
Zechariah 12:3,6,9"And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it....and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.... And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem."
[/blockquote]
President Bush is running headlong into the prophetic word hovering over both the Mountains of Israel and Jerusalem. The problem is that because he is the President, he is bringing the United States into this confrontation.
Since October 1991, when President George H.W. Bush initiated the Madrid Peace Plan, God has warned America of this confrontation. On the very day the President initiated the Madrid Peace Process, his home in Kennebunkport, Maine was heavily damaged by a freak storm. In 1992, the "Peace Process" was moved to Washington, DC. On the very day of the first meeting, Hurricane Andrew slammed into Florida causing billions of dollars in damage and destroying a large section of southern Florida.
As the meeting continued, so did the disasters. Disaster after disaster hit always on the very day the United States was pressuring Israel to divide the covenant land. Some of the greatest disasters ever to hit America occurred on these days. These disasters include earthquakes, hurricanes, massive floods, huge wildfires, awesome tornado outbreaks and stock market crashes. Disasters that include: Hurricane Andrew, Northridge Earthquake, 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. As America attempted to divide the land of Israel, awesome disasters hit the land of America. I have documented over 50 such correlations. The following is a list of just the disasters that happened when Arafat met with President Clinton to create a Palestinian state.

In ancient times primative societies, that werealmost completely ignorant of how the natural world operates, would consider events suchas earthquakes and destructive stormsas the work of unhappy deities who were punishing humans for some supposed transgression against them. Overthe centuries, through the hard and brilliant work of thousands of scientists, we have learned the true cause of much natural phenomenon, including that earthquakes are caused by movements in tectonic plates and storms by physical conditions in the atmosphere, andthat these thingshave absolutely no connection whatsovertopolitical disputes between human beings. Intelligent, thinking educated people have been aware of this since the dawn of the Age of Reason hundreds of years ago.
It is badenough that there are still people who believe that destructivenaturalphenomenon are the result of divine retribution against humans, but the suggestion that the United States of America should allow its foreign policy to be determined by such absurdly superstitious beliefs is really beyond the pale. How can anyone believe that what the Secretary of State says or does can causea rupture along a fault line in West Asia where geological stresses may have been building for centuries,or the formation of anarea of low atmospheric pressure in the Atlantic Ocean that becomes a destructive hurricane? These events will occur or not occur irregardless of what any human does or does not do. If someone wants to reject reason, rationality and modern science in their personal lives that is their business but trying to make such primitive thinking the basis of the foreign policy of our country is unthinkable.
