Default abortion and deaths in Iraq

I looked up some numbers this morning on the internet to see what the difference was. Since the US has startedthe war in Iraq in 2003, DoD has estimated roughly 3900 deaths. In 2004 alone there were an estimated 875,000 abortions in the US.Lets just say that the number of abortions stay the same each year over4 years time, that equals 3,500,000 aborted babies inside our great nation.

Alot ofpeoplein our great nation arediscusted and out raged with the President of the United States and our government for the loss of 3900troops in Iraq. However, there is not a mention of the 3,000,000 + humans being exacuted by abortion here in our country.

This makes no sense to me! any thoughts?

It's sad and pitiful. Some time ago on the pollitical board I mentioned that the news was all up in arms about some guy mistreating dogs (which I don't agree with, btw) but folks in general don't seem to blink an eye at abortion. Dog life seems to be more precious to the general public than human life. Nobody better tell a woman what she can or can't do with "her" (and her unborn child's) body, but you'll go to prison for mistreating an animal.

It's a mess for sure.

It is pitiful. It brings to mind a local news report I saw some years ago in which a group was demonstrating against the practice of giving baby chickens to kids at Easter time. The lady reporter was interviewing one of the protesters when she recognized the protester as also having been a participant in a pro-abortion demonstration!!

I take abortion very seriously and very personally. My mother's parents threw her out when she refused to abort me. If mom hadn't protected my life before I was even born, I would be dead in a landfill somewhere, instead of here caring for a baby of my own.
