Have you guys ever experienced a nightmare where you are suffocating or battling off something? Its almost like a demon is taking control over you and you are trying to fight it off. Every once in awhile I get a nightmare like this and feel that it is very spiritual. Sometimes it feels so real that it can't possibly be fake. Anyone else have something like this happen to them?
No, but if you think it is a demon try this.Very old remedy. let me know if it works. Some claim it is a medical condition. If it continues I would see a medical doctor.

Yes very definitely, usually the Lord is speaking to you about something in your life you have not given up, I speak from personal experience as well.

The only nightmares that have ever woken me up and shaken me were ones from a real life experience so I can't help you there.
I did however suffer a bad bout of depression not long after my husband and I were married and this caused the nighmares to occur nightly and one night I ended up thrashing and woke up Josh, he held me still and prayed over me and since then I have only had the nightmare once when Josh was away for work. Prayer is what you need!
