Today I was at our church for the Christmas play. My twin boys ( 7 wks old) were playing baby Jesus ( that is which ever one wasn't fusing). Well the first of two showings was finished and the cast was eating a meal preparing for the next show. I said to the producer " I've been here for the dress reherseal and the show last night and now today's firstshow, I know the words off by heart. I could fill in if your lead man went down all of a sudden". In my most sarcastic voice, just trying to shed a little humor. Then she said "good, there were only two wise men for the first to shows because the man who was gonna do it had a medical emergency with his wife". Well needless to say I ate my foot, you know " open mouth insert foot" I never learn! Well as a man of my word I went straight to the costum lady and low and behold the costume fit just right. So as luck would have it, I am dressed and ready to perform for the firast time in my life. I waited anxiously for the time to come for my big part. AllI had to do was carry a treasure to the manger and present it to the baby Jesus and then sing Silent Night and o'holy night. Well my cue came and down the isle I went. I was a little uncomfortable but I went on. I got to the manger where Joseph nad Mary held Jesus ( who again was being played by my son Eugene.). I stepped to to manger, put the treasure down and knelt down as if I had offered my gift and myself to Baby Jesus. Then all of a sudden, it was as if all the oxygen was taken from the world. I felt weak, overpowered, and completely humbled. As I kneeled there prentending to be a wise man I was actually touched by the love of Jesus. I have never had this happen before. I began to tear up and then I felt totally relieved and absolutely at peace. I have always believed in Jesus and GOD. I was savedf several years ago, but never did I experience anything like this. HE TOUCHED ME!!! When the play was overI talked with my wife and explained this. We bothbegan to cry and we held each other and ourtwo boys. Finally I feel as if we are a family, walking with and for GOD and JESUS.WOW how the day changed. And howJESUS changed us! I am here to shout from the mountain tops on thisChristmas season, JESUS IS ALIVE ANDLIFE IS GREAT!

That's pretty awesome. Josh and I are supposed to be Mary and Joseph and luckily I don't have to do a duet or a solo. I am glad your whole family was there for your special moment. How are your boys? Very well I presume along with your wife.

I am sorry but Jesus doesnt work like that today. The maricales that Jesus did were true Mericals, Stopped Storms, Healed Sick, Raised Dead. We learn about Jesus and how to be saved thru his word. I am a very emonical person have had dissy Spells, Cry easy, But the Lord has not Touched Me are Spoken to me. The nervous System can cause many things to happen. I knew a man who was a member of the church and even preached some. Had a great family and he started thinking he was Jesus. Was He Jesus? No! Just had a problem.

Usually I try to keep my mouth shut when people cast stones such as you have. But I was too moved by that night to let this go. I am completely and utterly amazed that someone would make themselves an expert on miracles of the lord. I will pray for you that GOD touches you the way He did me, but please don't tell me that he didn't touch me. I WAS THERE, I FELT THE MIRACLE AT HAND. AND MY WIFE DID TOO. I don't believe all miracle that he performs are posted, noticed screamed from the mountian top or even recognized by many. ( for example : child birth, the leaves on the trees every spring, and a ogre of past turned to a loving husband and father of now.) So Maybe in your next prayers ask GOD to grant you the power to see all the miracles he makes. I know I will for you.

Well, I will have to beg to differ with you myself as well. The living Christ certainly does involve Himself personally in each of His children's lives. He lets us know that we are His, and that He kows us. It is one thing to claim to know Him, but another for Him to claim to know you. he demonstrates this claim by interacting with us in such a personal manner that you know that only He could possibly be the One involved. He demonstrates it with His intimate knowledge of knwoing rigt where we are at any given moment. Just as Nigtmare has described, when we really aren't expecting it.
Nightmare, I know that sense of humility and overwhelmiong peace, and for me sometimes it is a little 'scary' to be startled by His intervention at these times. His reality is overwhelming!
Turkey, I assume you have a scripture to prove your statement. Could you just post it for all to see? I know the scripture says that miracles ect SHALL at some point in the future, cease. Where does it say that they have already ceased? You wouldn't be guilty of adding something to the scripture that God didn't say would you?
I like it when we can prove all things.
