Default Help a guy out with the meaning of Trinitarian and Oneness

This is a subject that keep and keeps coming up. I've tried to stay silent and just read...but it's hard to even read when you not even clear about WHAT the argument is over!

To keep this from becoming another support/debunk argument lets set rules for this thread.

1). No supporting references to scripture, historical accounts, personal testimonies etc.
2). I don't want to know to which 'camp' you subscribe.

* There are plenty of threads already started to do those two thing.

What I do want is to hear the definition and meaning of Trinitarian and Oneness as you best understand them. Highlighting what areas seem to be points of discussion when considering the topic.

The rules don't mean they have to be short. (And that doesn't mean they have to be long!lol) I just want to keep this thread on a different vein than the already existing threads.

Thanks

This is simply how I understand it.

Oneness ..believe God and Jesus to be the exact same God..They also beleive you must be baptized in Jesus name only since there is really only one God..

Trinitarian ..which I suport...they are 3 separate beings..all which are 100% in one accord.

Trinity= an implied doctrine, in other words you have to do a lot of twisting to find a trinity in the bible.

One God= The Doctrine of only one God as revealed to Moses and the Prophets, no searching for implied obscured verses to see it.

Soilarch; I will let the trinitarians speak for themselves here, but I will confess to believing that Jesus and the Father are the exact same God. It is already mentioned as if that was false doctrine. If they are not the exact same God, then which Two Gods are they?
Some good reading can be found at www.godsonlygospel,com/god
This deals with the importance of doctrine.
www.jesus-messiah.com
deals with oneness and trinity.
www.learnbible.net
deals with oneness.
I don't claim to agree with every thought expressed, but there is much truth to think about.

Reb.

not from me..I simply answered the question..Manuman does an excellent job speaking for the trimitarians. My hat is offto him. I learned alot from that last post . "And that's all I got to say about that."
