I just want to let you all know that because of the
Christian people on this website I came back to the
Lord this past August because of all the uplifting
and encouraging things you say about the Lord and
his delivering power!Because of something that
happened to me over four years ago I could not
hear the Lord or feel his presence any more but
after coming here and reading and being all the
more encouraged I started reading the Bible at
the Crosswalk website.God started slowly speaking
to me again and I am now closer to God than I
have been in many years.I have also went and
bought a new Bible and I cant get enough of Gods
word as I have fallen so much back in love with
Jesus and his written word again.Even before this
happened to me I would tell others about Jesus
and his saving grace but since God has restored
me he showed me I had a prideful heart and spirit
and showed me my shortcomings that I had.I have
not yet gone back to church yet because of my
sleep patterns but I am going to a Christian mens
fellowship and absolutely love it.As God continues
to restore my sleep patterns by his Grace I will be
back in church again as I love the fellowship that
I had been missing.I do not have health insurance
and need a healing physically for gerd and so much
indigestion as I have a pain in my chest that comes
and goes but bothers me very much and I am
seeking Gods supernatural healing and am asking
for your prayers in this matter as I trust in his
promises.Also pray God will restore my sleep even
more as he has been doing this and slowly giving
me more sleep which I need.He is also restoring
my marriage and my family with my fantastic seven
year old son whom I Love more than life itself.So
if you would lift me up in prayer for these needs
as I know there are so many Godly and praying
people here that I request these prayers.Because
of you all I came back to the Lord again and I am
forever grateful for that.Your humble servant in the

I rejoice greatly with you VA Slugger..I've had a powerful renewal as well this week. ....probably best renewal in my entire life..God used my son to get me on the STRAIGHT and narrow ..the road full of blessing and peace.

Now that 's the kind of report I love to hear about!!!! God is definitely moving in your heart, and I really like the part about your family being restored as well. I have a 7 year old son as well--15, and a 22 year old too. My 7 year old is really at that age of impressionability,and he watches everything and imitates everything I do. It's really great to think that your son is seeing his Dad get his heart right with the lord. I do believe that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until theday of Christ Jesus!I ask for your continued blessings and healing.

mike will be keeping you and your family in prayer, I can relate to the sleeping issues and hope you will get the healing and rest you need. i have worked "off-shift" hours for so long that my sleep has been messed up for a while, with a few changes mine has improved dramatically, i will pray that yours does also..
