Default Religion Forum Rules--Please Read

This forum is a valuable forum to many people and is a tremendous resource for a lot of us who wish to discuss our religious beliefs with others and ideally continue to learn and grow in our faith. Many people here are to be commended for making this forum the special place that it is and for giving so unselfishly of their time, knowledge and experiences. Although we don't always realize it, this forum has become a refuge for some members who greatly appreciate the contributions, love and fellowship of other members. You know who you are and thank you for making this place special.

HNI allows everybody to post their beliefs, opinions, thoughts, ideas and questions but does not allow people to insult, attack, or otherwise belittle another member. I have previously posted that members should consider WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) when considering their posts but apparently not everybody has the same opinions about how Christ would post or that he would post in love.

Fortunately, these problems can still be addressed as they are covered by HNI rules. HNI is a privately owned website that allows people to join and post for free. HNI has set up rules to prevent one member from attacking, insulting or otherwise offending another member and thus minimize HNI's legal liabilities. HNI wishes to be a family friendly, pro-hunting and inclusive website and thus must insist that the rules are followed so the site can be maintained.

The vast majority of members are upstanding, ethical, positive and unselfish people who contribute greatly to this website and truly make it successful and a place that we all like to visit. The following does not apply to any of you in this category and you are welcome any time on HNI and we're glad to have you.

There is a small minority of people who continue to make posts that attack, offend, insult and essentially flame other members. You have had posts removed, been sent warnings and a few of you still continue to violate HNI rules. I will be happy to discuss anybody's situation with them PRIVATELY through PM's or emails but I can assure you that these rules violations will not be tolerated and if they continue YOU will be permanently banned from HNI. That means your current user name will be removed from HNI and any aliases or alternate user names you create will also be removed. And if you happen to have a dynamic IP address instead of a static one, you will eventually trip up and that user name and IP address will be banned also.

It's sad that something like this would need to be posted in a religion forum but some people are simply too full of themselves and apparently are unable to smell the roses. I realize that any member will occasionally violate a rule and for the most part, those members often self-police and it is appreciated. This warning is for those persistent rules violaters who think HNI rules do not apply to them, chronically argue with admin and moderators and pretty much create a hostile forum environment where many members don't want to post because they simply don't want to deal with the strife. If you plan on persisting in this manner, you might as well just ask to be permabanned because that is surely what is going to happen.
