I haven't had much time to be on here lately so I thought I would just give a quick update.
On thanksgiving we went to my husbands aunts house. She just found out a few days before that her cancer is active again. It is spreading in her bones and at this point they are only doing treatments to proplong her life. I felt bad for her because everyone kept telling her to go lay down. She ate good, she had good color, she felt fine and she was fairly chipper. I don't know what it feels like to have cancer but I know if I were her I would want a normal day without the go lay down and how are you feeling are you hanging in there? Naomi is a grown woman who knows and understands her limits. She will express her needs. It reminds me of the numerous scriptures in the bible about worry. They are so busy being worried about her that they don't understand what she wants. Please say a prayer for her, her husband and her kids.
Other than that the day was great. We ate, watched football, talked Christianity, a little bit of politics and ate some more.
On Saturday we went to my in-laws for dinner with 3 couples from the church. We played Balderdash and laughed and laughed.
On Sunday we made a trip to the E.R. after sunday school the kids were upstairs running around and one of the bigger kids bumbed into my 7 year old and he fell back and hit his head on the pew. We left the church around 10 and were back in time to catch the last few minutes of the sermon and potluck. They doctor put 2 staples in his head. No needles, no novacaine, it was over in seconds and Isaac said that it wasn't bad, ecspecially compared to stitches. We go tomorrow to get the staples out.
The last couple days Josh has had off so I have been helping him with his trailer for his fish house. It is just a portable but his truck broke down and it doesn't fit in my van well with carseats. We had to make some adjustments so that we could wire the trailer and hook up lights and it needed some braces and I helped him design the gate on back so that he could just slide it in and out. But it only cost us$30 to make the adjustments he wanted verses putting 1,000 into the truck when it's about the time that he will get laid off. And it was fun because it was something we could do together.
Other than that not a whole lot happening. I am currently working on our Sunday School Christmas Program and that was taking up a lot of time.
Just remember even though I am not on here a lot for stints at a time I am still thinking and praying for you guys.
I will remember to pray for peace on the forum, I know that you guys can sometimes get heated but seriously it hurts to see some of the stuff said on here. But enough of that. Have a good one God's Peace!

Thanks for the replies. We had Sunday School practice yesterday and again this morning and the kids are going to do a spectacular job. They have done better this year than I have ever seen them.
We are singing Happy Birthday to Jesus and 3 of the younger girls are singing the 2 middle verses and it sounds so cute.
It is great that we don't have to worry about the kids being perfect. We had a few kids miss pronounce the names and it was adorable. My friends little boys' part is His name is Chief Cornerstone and he tried reading it himself and said Chef Cornerstone. My daughter is supposed to sayy His name is Alpha and she says Jesus's name is Alpha and this morning she forgot the a on the end. Jari (pronounced with a y) has 2 parts and he combined them and said King of Bread. I am so blessed to work with these little ones. They bring so much joy. I am now secretary of the sunday school so I put in a bit more time than I used to but it is worth it. Our Sunday School has been changing as our congregation does and the result is a blessing from God. Everyone in the church is really starting to come together. It is more like family and people visit after church more often now and the big kids enjoy the time with the little ones. Our Pastor has really helped to break down some major barriors.
Josh and I were given the oppurtunity to help out a family at our church. They have had a really hard time these past few months. My friend Patty and her children go to our church and is married to someone who had two kids when they got married. His daughter just died of alcohol poisoning and she had also been struggling with anorexia. Ken has not been working long enough for sick pay, holiday pay, and has to take off a week unpaid on top of it. They are so strapped financially that he cannot heat his shop this year. (He makes cabinets and they are beautiful) They hadn't been able to fix their dryer and her car just broke down. Josh and I were given a dryer when we were married and it was just sitting at my dads since there was a dryer here when we bought our house. We dropped the dryer off on Friday. Please keep Ken and Patty in your prayers through this difficult time. I am hoping at some point that Ken would be comfortable enough to come to church with his family. I think he has been burnt by churches and just can't kick the bad feeling.
