RE: Are the Scriptures from God, God Breathed, without Err
Turkey; I have already stated my stand several times, but don't mind being on record where I stand. I just wish I knew where others stood on the issue of the fallable, or infallable scriptures. II Timothy 3:16 says it all for me.
RE: Are the Scriptures from God, God Breathed, without Err
I have no problem believing each and every verse 100%. As I said in a different thread, our problems start when man starts trying to say "Yes, that is what is says, but this is what it really means". I think that instead of trying to make the Bible say what we choose to believe, we should choose to believe what the Bible says. Even if we can't fully understand it, replicate it, or explain it, that doesn't mean it's wrong or was misstated--accepting God's Word as it's written is, to me, what faith is all about.

Chad; I agree. Adding one word pollutes the text. Taking one word from the text, makes it incomplete.Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Faith doesn't add to , nor take away from. It excepts the scripture exactly as written.

Chad, does this apply to the Book of Revelation as well ...? and is Psalms and Proverbs applicable for today?
