Just an FYI--I wasn't the one who removed the post that instigated your temper tantrumn--I was at a friend's house and didn't know anything about it until I got home--I hadn't even seen your post.
Not that it matters--the moderator that removed it did so because it violated HNI posting rules--you know, the rules you agreed to adhere to when you became a member.
If you weren't trying to hide something by blocking your e-mail, I'm sure the mod that did it would have let you know. I would have explained this to you myself, in private, but since you removed that option, here you go.
Over the years the mods on this board, and Justin, have had to make special posts just to get certain individuals to straighten up. It's a crying shame that adults who claim to be Christians would need this to begin with, yet it happens over and over and over again.
There's been at least two notices that we no longer have the option of giving temporary bans. If you cross the line to that extent, you are gone--period. I don't plan to post this again.

Just for the record, I deleted some of the posts in this forum (including the post Chad and Joe have referred to) and have edited others. Most moderators will ask another mod to do moderating in a topic they are heavily involved in so as to avoid the appearance of biased moderating. Mods try hard NOT to make it personal and just professional but people sometimes do take things personally when their post has been edited or deleted because of rules violations.
If a post is salvageable (i.e. the rules violations can be removed or edited), I only edit out the violations and insert ...Deleted by CalHunter... where the deleted text was. It's not a perfect system but pretty much every member on this board is erudite enough to express their thoughts or points of view in such a way that doesn't violate the rules. I am very open to people sending me a PM or email explainging what they meant by any edited post and will listen to what you say and reverse my decision if I think it's warranted.
If a post has so many rules violations that it's simply going to take too long to edit them out (and some posts do), then a mod will delete the whole post. Occasionally, an entire topic will have a serious amount of rules violations and flame wars (these sometimes last 10+ pages) and the only time efficient method to stop the violations and flame war is to lock up the topic or delete the topic entirely.
The system isn't perfect but it's the best one we've found so far. If you have a question or concern, please PM or email a mod or admin instead of arguing the point in open forum (another rules violation).
