Me too! It's been good, I got the smallest 8-point I've ever seen...but his body was big so I a good amount of meat. (He needed to be "harvested"...his right main tine had a weird bulge/kink in it. Very strange) Had the shot on a prettiest 4 pointer I had ever seen but he was too young and from the looks of his TALL 4 points I decided I should let him go. Fixing to go out again with bow this time.

AND....I DIDN'T eat too much today!!! Maybe the first time EVER.

Good job Chuck.. Sorry I didn't get to come up, like I thought I was. But I've taken on this new job and I'm flying about two round trips all over the U.S. each week. I have projects from California to Georgia and little time to do anything. I have managed to get some whitetail and Axis in the freezer before I ventured off into the wild blue yonder. I even had to quit my ministry, I am only home a few weeks a month. I do check in from time to time as I take a lap top on my trips.

I'm still holding out for the "extra big" boys. I took two does early and then a very nice non-typical 12 point Halloween morning. Now, I'm trying to take another nice buck. I've seen a couple that I want. One was this morning about 2 hours ago! I've got to get him in a hurry though because gun season starts tomorrow and I'll still be arming myself with just my bow. He'd have been toast with a gun!
