Are you all looking forward to Thanksgiving..I am as our children and grandchildren will be here for a feast as usual..what a blessing that will be..please pray for those in need whatever it might be as their is nothing to small or to big for our God..today i want to talk to you about the blessings of God and prayer..
Father thank you for loving us and caring for us..i pray today for the sick and the afflicted and those that are discouraged, that you will reach down your healing hand and heal those who need your help, according to thy will.. and we will thank you in Jesus name, Amen.

Have you ever sat down and tried to count your blessings all through your life? i doubt if you would live long enough to count them all..and yet how many blessings do we miss out on because we do not obey God's commands.
"For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the Blessing, he was rejected; for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears". Hebrews 12:17 kjv a lot has been said about obedience, and rightfully so..if God tells us to do something we better obey or there will be no blessing in fact it will get us just the opposite, a chastening from our heavenly Father..there are those that say they don't need to go to church but the word says different.."Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner as some is, but exorting one another; so much the more,as ye see the day approaching." Hebrews 10:25..and that don't mean just go to be going, it means go to worship, and it gives us the opportunity to fellowship with fellow Christians for strength and encouragement and to get stirred up by the preaching of God's Word..the church is a body that interacts with one another..1 Corin. 12:14-27..so when ya don't go to church ya miss another blessing..hey God wrote it, i just quote..God is so good to us,keeping us fit when we aren't really fit to keep.just think back of all the times we could have been killed, in a wreck or in one of the many wars..scary isn't it? His kindness and mercy and love have been shown over and over again.. but are we thankful?
A thankful heart, do you have one? "Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Fatherin the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Eph.5:20 I don't know about you but that part about beinb thankful for all things is sometimes hard to swallow..especially when that old cancer gets you or your heart starts messing up..but praise God i just remember Romans 8:28 and thank God for it..amen..
he Bible says in 1Thess. 5:18"In everything give thanks" why? "because this is the will of Good in Christ Jesus concerning you." you say everything, how about a broken arm or leg or broken heart or a broken dream.. yes, give thanks it could be worse..remember as i have often said Good is the fixer of broken things, we just have to give him all the pieces..the one greatest blessing in my life was when Jesus died on the cross for mine and your sins..oh what a wonderful Saviour, PRAISE HIS PRECIOUS NAME!!!!!!!!!! with the songwriter i can sing,"Thank you Lord, for saving my soul. thank you, Lord for making me whole. thank you. Lord, for giving to me, Thy great salvation so rich and free."
count my blessings? where do i begin? Where could i find the paper to hold them if i wrote them down this i do know, i never deserved a one of them..."
Father thank you again for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us..and Father if there is one here that is lost and without a Saviour may they receive the greatest blessing of al, that promise of life eternal in heaven..in Jesus precious name i pray amen..
