The new earth my friend..Peter tells us that the present one shall be destroyed.

2 nd Peter 3:10But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Jesus embraces those who humble themselves, acknowledging God's right to rule, even if in practice they are not yet perfect. Jesus preached hard to the religiously and socially arrogant,(proud) andHis words fell on deaf ears,but his words come as comfort to the meek and brokenhearted, Who are seeking the face of the LORD!

Zephaniah 3:11-13
11 On that day you will not be put to shame
for all the wrongs you have done to me,
because I will remove from this city
those who rejoice in their pride.
Never again will you be haughty
on my holy hill.
12 But I will leave within you
the meek and humble,
who trust in the name of the LORD.

Inheriting the earth is not the same as inheriting eternal life. But while we are here on earth, we can experience the peace that comes from a lack of conflict with others by practicing meekness. I can testify to that because I am a very meek person. Every now and then someone might criticize me for that. But I find that by not challenging people, even those who are aggressive towards others will be kind to me because I don't threaten them.

The Bible is good advice on that count because I feel that I have everything I could possible want from this world and I didn't have to struggle with anyone for it.

I think you should have come straight with these new people on here and let them know where you were going with this..Jehovah's Witness don't beleive the earth will ever be destroyed...because their translation leaves that out.

In a Christian bible it says I will make a new heaven and a new earth.

J.W.'s believe that we will continue to live on the earth and keep farming and such.

I can't remember where that verse was but I studied it a while back. Maybe someone hear knows where it is. Most people when not qouting KJV on here put that on here. Maybe that would be a good idea for you cataway, type the verse and the translation you are using then we'll talk.
