Date palm trees in the middle east produce an average of 38 pounds of dates per year. in Israel the production averages 400 pounds per tree annually..
Israel leads the world in the actual number scientists and technicians in the work force at 145 per 10,000 as compared with 85 in the US,70 in ***an, and less than 60 in Germany..
Israel has the highest percentage of home computers in the world on a per capita basis.
Their ratio to university degrees to population is the highest in the world on a per capita basis.
All of this has been accomplished in spite of the fact that constant wars and terrorists force Israel to pay more per capita for their own protection than any other country in the world.
Iranian president Mah moud Ahmadinejad has sworn he will wipe Israel off the map..he might do well to remember God has promised Israel,"I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee." Amen! I worry about what direction this country is headed. Many in the U.S. want to turn their back on Israel. May God take pity on us if we do. I would rather die, fighting on God's side, than to perish fighting against Him.
